David Woodhouse 2011 Prism Award Recipient
David Woodhouse founded David Woodhouse Architects in 1987. His projects have earned numerous design awards from the American Institute of Architects and the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois. He was recognized as AIA Chicago’s Firm of the Year in 2007 and recently won a national competition to design the Daniel Burnham Memorial in Chicago. In 2004, David and his extraordinary team began the process of reimagining the look of The Cove School. They took what was a dark, cramped and often inefficient use of space, and transformed it into a bright, open and accessible place to learn and work.

David and his wife Marsha are former Cove parents; he is a long time member of the The Cove School Board of Trustees, and a true friend to the school. David’s love and passion for Cove are evident to all who know him.
