Sixth Form Dress

Day dress is not purchased from Monkhouse - but the sixth form PE kit (as listed above) is

Dark suits such as black, grey and dark blue

Sensible tie must be worn

Shirts without patterns, white or blue in colour

Smart, polished shoes and socks

Hair should be clean and tidy

Longer hair should be tied back

Girls

Dark suits such as black, grey or dark blue should be worn - either with skirt or trousers

Shirts/ blouses without patterns, white or blue in colour

Smart polished shoes

Jewellery is permitted in the form of one pair of ear studs and a modest necklace

No other piercings are permitted (plastic retainers must be used during the school day)

Hair should be clean and tidy

Nail varnish can be worn, but it must be neat and tidy

Sixth Form Dress Code

All pupils wear a business suit

Suits with skirts or trousers (no leggings or tight fitted trousers) of colours such as black, dark blue or grey worn with an accompanying jacket

Shirts/blouses must be worn, tucked in with no patterns

Accompanying suit trousers/ skirts must be worn that match the jacket

Skirts should be of an appropriate length and to be to the top of the knee

Socks (not trainer or short ankle socks) or tights must be worn

Shoes must be appropriate to wear with a suit, smart and tidy No trainer shoes are permitted - shoes should be able to be polished

Smart coats are permitted to be worn, however, they must be removed once inside a classroom or the dining room, and they are not to be worn instead of a jacket

Sensible haircuts of a natural colour

There are five bus routes operated on behalf of Abbotsholme School by three providers, both morning and night

Payment of School Fees

a) Fees are payable in advance, or on the first day of term. Late payment and administration charges will be raised and the school reserves the right to request the withdrawal of a pupil should fees remain unpaid

b) Monthly payment is available through School Fee Plan Details can be obtained from the School Finance Manager.

c) Advance Fee Payment Discount Scheme is available and the fee payer may pay annual fees one year in advance at a discounted rate of 3%. Details can be obtained from the School Finance Manager

Withdrawal

A full term’s notice in writing must be given by parents or guardians before a pupil is withdrawn, failure to do this will incur a terms fees in lieu of notice The written notice should be received by the Headmaster, on or before the first day of the term prior to which the pupil will leave the school.
