The overall concept for the theatre is based upon book-sourced imagination, whimsy, and creativity. the design is meant to inspire imagination in children and create safe spaces for them to just be children, to balance work & play, culture & the arts
The main attraction of Aklatan is its Pop-Up Stage The pop-up stage sports mechanized flip panels for its base, tambour sliding panels as curtains, Philippineinspired locations as fantasy pop-ups acting as scene backdrops, and a cut-out in panels for ease of transition between scenes or plays

tasked to design a cinema & theatre complex located at a site of our choosing with the condition that the total lot area be 2 hectares sqm.
Pearlview Cineplex is located in Cebu City along the CSCR (Cebu South Coastal Road), adjacent to SM Seaside Cebu. The complex houses 2 grand theaters, each with a 300+ capacity, and 4 cinemas, each with a capacity of 105.

The cinema & theatre complex was designed in tribute to Cebu City's title as the "Pearl of the South" Pearlview Cineplex is geared towards finding individuals of great and rare talent, honing their skills, and birthing pearls.
Provided spaces and amenities allow artists to learn from the best of the best in the industry
The interior design of all spaces embodies subtle luxury, making use of light timber, cladding contrasted against black quartz

Our design concept revolved around James Bond's alternate title- "Agent for Truth". The goal for the interior design fit-out was to ensure the proper embodiment of brutalismraw, honest, and functional while addressing the needs of the client in regard to his character, lifestyle, preferences, and profession.
