WORK

Programming Assistant, Building Equality in Architecture Toronto August 2022 - Present

• Designed a report submission for the RAIC Advocate for Architecture Award 2024, alongside 2 architects, resulting in the organization’s recognition and receipt of the award

• Developed and produced 10 animated videos showcasing partnerships between the organization and various AEC

• Created 2 illustrations for an article featuring the organization in the May 2024 issue of Canadian Architect

• Produced the organization’s branding documents and graphics archive in collaboration with 5 designers, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all visual assets

Graphics Coordinator, Toronto Metropolitan Association of Part-time Students

October 2021 - Present

• Produced graphics for 67 social media campaigns, spanning digital and print formats to promote various student-focused events, effectively boosting visibility and driving higher turnout at events

• Created 17 engaging animated videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok ( @tmaps105 ), amassing over 8,500 views and driving heightened interaction with the student community

• Collaborated closely with the Executive Director and Communications Coordinator to design over 4 general meeting reports, thus improving transparency and communication with the students that the organization serves

• Guided the onboarding process for 2 communications team members, resulting in smooth integration and improved productivity within the team

EXTRACURRICULARS

Volunteer, Transition Toronto May 2024 - Present

• Collaborated with two team members to determine next steps for marketing and communications

• Designed a flyer and explainer document to be presented to members of the community to deepen their understanding of sustainable energy solutions

TRANSITION TORONTO

This flyer was designed for Transition Toronto — a volunteer-led organization focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Toronto neighbourhoods. Through clear composition, calming colours, and simple illustration, this was designed to demistify alternative energy systems to members of the community.

The central element - the phone and earbuds - tie the content “bubbles” together. The soft pink bubbles serves as contrast against the predominant vibrant colours while framing brief text.

To create unity between the objects, the fruit and vegetables are outlined in white. The “reaching” hand and the gradient circle background allows the design to continue the carousel post’s colour scheme.

KNOW YOUR STUDENT RIGHTS

This two-sided flyer serves promotes various academic services offered by the Student Rights Coordinator at Toronto Metropolitan Association of Part-time Students (TMAPS). While the first page highlights students’ rights and responsibilities, the latter provides the reader with relevant services and contact information, each separated by bright and bold font styles. TMAPS WEBSITE BANNERS

Following the organization’s name change, the Toronto Metropolitan Association Students (TMAPS), the website was next to be updated. The refreshed layout format of banners, to represent each page and event. Simple yet efficient to support the following webpages (from left to right, up to down): Canadian Students (CFS), Victories, Elections, and Semi-Annual General Report (SAGM).

Association of Part-time layout required a new efficient imagery was used Canadian Federation of (SAGM).

SOLAR ECLIPSE

To give community members a chance to experience the Great North American Solar Eclipse, Toronto Metropolitan Association of Part-time Students (TMAPS) hosted a giveaway for eclipse glasses. These glasses were crucial to the safe viewing of the eclipse, thus being the focal point of the graphics. Though not to scale, the illustrations of the moon and sun were made larger to catch the reader’s attention while also placing emphasis on the upcoming event.

MOVE TO THE BEAT!

The poster highlights the achievements of Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT): an architecture organization aimed to uplift and platform women in the architecture and engineering industry. This was a part of the organization’s submission for the 2024 RAIC Advocate for Architecture Award, which was awarded to them this year.
