#ABA Magazine rst edition launch On 17/11/2021 to the delight of the guests of ABA Mag cocktail launch, the rst digital edition of the Magazine of Artisans and Guests, they felt unique and simply in our beloved Brazil. The location chosen couldn't have been better. The Grange is a charming Grade II listed heritage located in Brent, Great London. The venue, which was once a museum, welcomed us to promote this unique event. November 17, will be marked for many guests and for our member, as one more opportunity that this association offers: a helper tool that brings pure and simple art closer to people. Representatives of the press, businessmen, clubs, artists, singers, dancers, sculptors, actors, sommeliers, politicians, lawyers, curators, secretaries of the UKCC- United Kingdon Brazilian Citizenship Council-, in uencers, fashion models and of course, our artisans , made themselves present brightening our newest achievement, being welcomed by the hostess, myself, founder of ABA; Mrs. Valéria Soares Medeiros De Oliveira. The mayor of Brent, our guest of honor, the illustrious Lady Cllr Lia Colacicco was ‘’only smiles’’ and very attentive to the details of the performances of the Mojubá Capoeira Group, the ballet dancer Cecilia Ramalho and on the performance of the charming singer Nick Santos. With great sympathy, she received the handmade gifts made by our exhibitors and she thanked everyone with a ' Muito Obrigada'. Words do not describe the magical atmosphere, the communion among people and joy that hovered from the rst to the last minute of this ABA Mag fraternization event. ABA Year of 2016
We were then a group of six artisans seeking a space in the beautiful and bustling craft fairs in London. Our eyes sparkled as we went to the fair in Portobello, Candem Town, The Greenwich and Spitafields Market among many other landmarks of art and the 'handmade' crafts”. We looked like children in an amusement park and then agreed, among themselves, that we would have a space not only in London, but also in the whole of the United Kingdom, where we could take Brazilian art and culture with our craft works. Then on February 26, 2016, the Brazilian Association of Artisans and Guests was born. Guests who kept coming, informing themselves and joining us. Singers, dancers, writers, illustrators, painters, musicians, ceramists, crocheters, culinary chefs, ar tisans in general, therapists, capoeiristas, journalists, sommeliers, photographers, video makers, cartoonists, graffiti artists, ceremonialists among many other professionals. Then a large family was formed, and with this spirit of associating with other people and not themselves, we were exploring and conquering our space exactly six years ago.
The ABA now has 117 members and three times more in number of sympathizers for this cause, even though they are not in the art business. Art unites and with it we become a point of reference for a demanding audience that does not give up the hand of hand-made work and exclusive and nonrobotic services, making 'fashion' every piece or product used. ABA prioritizes and welcomes artists and artisans looking for opportunities to showcase their art. We create opportunities for them to express themselves, to appear and to have more opportunities in the labor market. Aba is not for profit and every project presented is to raise funds for new projects of the same where we carefully create opportunities equal to various artists and artisans and their sectors , and say if in passing, the parties and cultural events ABA are pure joy. Everyone has a space, everyone produces, everyone supports each other, and the association is showing what it came for. With exhibitions, exhibitions, lectures, vernissages and various art workshops around the world, With agreements between fairs, exhibitions, lectures, vernissages and various art workshops around the world, I usually say that 'my girl' conquered her space, it was and it is recognized and awarded as a serious and respectful association. Beautiful, fearless, creative and with open arms to welcome those who seek it.
