Environmental & Sustainability Policy Abacus Creative Resources are committed to sustainable development. Concern for the environment and the welfare of people is a fundamental part of this. Our aim is to reduce the impact of our business on the environment through various Company initiatives. Our Action Plan We will assess the environmental impacts of our operations and set objectives and targets in order to make improvements. We will regularly review these targets and ensure compliance as a bare minimum. We aim to: • Reduce the use of energy, water and other resources such as fuel • Minimise waste via recycling, reusing and reducing • Comply with all government legislation and regulations • Promote responsibility for the environment within the business • Align and develop policies and services to support this one • Encourage and educate our people (employees, customers and suppliers) to commit to a sustainable development philosophy • Provide the appropriate resources to allow for the continued dedication to this policy • Promote and encourage involvement with initiatives and schemes which support this policy • Communicate and implement this policy throughout the organisation Key Actions Reinforce Senior Management Commitment Target: Policy Approved by April 2022 Updates: Annual review of policy – next review March 2023 Lead: Marketing Manager


Key Actions Continued Improve Environmental Awareness Amongst Employees Target: Ongoing via regular focus groups, internal communication methods and meetings Update: Monthly updates within the Company Managers Meetings Lead: Marketing Manager Reduction in the use of Paper Through Improved Online and Electronic Initiatives and Electronic Records Management Target: Improved website functionality reducing the need for paper based ordering and hard copy catalogues for customers by January 2023 Update: Update on project status August 2022 Lead: Marketing Manager / Marketing Coordinator Additional Actions We have responded to government targets and have actively increased our own measures by: • Establishing specific duties relating to all corporate social responsibilities undertaken and overseen by the Marketing Manager • Preparing and promoting an environmental policy and action plan • Promoting sustainable, UK based suppliers • Close monitoring of utilities consumption • Installation of light sensors throughout Head Office • Installation of Solar Roof Panels • Promoting employee wellbeing through various engaging activities • Investing in recyclable packaging options • Supporting local charities and initiatives • Monthly donations to our trusted partners Forest Carbon in order to support their UK reforestation and peatland restoration projects as well as supporting international projects to offset carbon emissions
