When in Rome, do as the Romans Do

Trevi Fountain
If you want to ensure that you’ll come back to Rome someday, you’re supposed to throw a coin into this fountain. Just be prepared to fight off the crowds of other tourists who are all trying to do the same thing. And don’t try to swim in the fountain - you’ll get in trouble with the fountain police.

Roman Forum

This was like the ancient version of Facebook, where people would go to hang out, talk politics, and see what their friends were up to. You can still see the ruins of the old buildings and temples, and imagine what it must have been like to live in ancient Rome.
Piazza Navona

This is a great place to people-watch and enjoy a gelato or two. There are street performers, artists, and lots of cafes where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a good spot for a selfie too, as long as you don’t get photobombed by a pigeon :)
The Spanish Steps
If you’re looking for a spot to rest your weary feet, the Spanish Steps are the perfect place. This grand staircase connects the Piazza di Spagna with the Trinità dei Monti church, and it’s a popular spot for people-watching and taking in the view. Just be prepared to climb a lot of stairs if you want to reach the top.
