Putting more food on the table. Agricultural aviation plays a vital role in increasing the world’s food supply – and it’s time to spread the word. That’s why we’re launching the Feeding the World Tour this summer. It’s a campaign designed to build awareness and appreciation for what ag pilots and their aircraft do to bring more food to more tables every day. Those of us in the business may take it for granted – but an increasingly hungry planet simply can’t. No matter what you fly, we’re proud to support you. Because feeding more folks is a cause well worth flying for. Come see us on tour and fly the latest from Thrush. For a list of stops, or for more information, visit us online or call Eric Rojek at 229.789.0437.

Hello Colleen That post of Mike on YouTube was a Graham thing! We have your convention dates posted, so no problem there.—Bill

Take care—Bill

DVD Bill and Crew, Thank you for publishing the link to the YouTube video that was recorded about my husband, Mike Campbell. The video was very old, at least 10 years and I hadn’t been able to access it the last time I tried. A blast from the past! Please mark the 2017 Association of Montana Aerial Applicator’s convention on your calendar and to put in AgAir Update.

I watched your crop duster DVD and enjoyed it very much, covered a lot of history, some I remember as a boy watching Cubs and Stearmans flying near our house. Great job putting it together. Randel Hamilton Quitaque, Texas

Info needed How are you! I was wondering if you could help us with some needed info? My classmates and I need to do a field research with a considerable number of ag-operations in Brasil, at least a 100. We are having a hard time finding their email addresses. Do you have a contact list that could help us? Any info will be helpful. Thank you very much! Carlos Albuquerque Colombo, PR Brazil Hello Carlos; I’m doing well. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to release AgAir Update’s email list of ag-pilots. These pilots, like you, have trusted me with their email addresses to not sell or distribute them. One idea would be to contact the Brazilian national association, SINDAG, for help. However, like AgAir Update, it may not be able to release members’ email addresses either.—Bill

Hello Randel; Yes, the DVD, “Crop Duster”, has lots of good historical video content. I am sure glad you liked it.—Bill

Ag aviation in Maine by Graham Lavender Located in the New England region of the United States, Maine is the easternmost state and the northernmost east of the Great Lakes. It is known for its jagged, rocky coastline, low, rolling mountains, heavily forested interior and scenic waterways; and also its seafood cuisine, especially clams and lobster.

As Maine progressed into the 18th century, very few European settlements had survived the turmoil that plagued attempted civilizations since very early B.C. Until the American Revolution, and the War of 1812, Loyalist and Patriot forces contended for Maine’s territory. On March 15, 1820, Maine detached

itself from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and was the 23rd state, under the Missouri Compromise, to be admitted to the Union. Today’s Maine doesn’t usually conjure up images of expansive farmland and a flurry of agricultural activity, especially

Often in Northeast Maine at the beginning and end of MG Cropdusters’ season, nighttime temperatures will dip below the freezing point. As a precaution, nozzles are mounted above the boom so liquid can drain out of them to avoid bursting.

ag aviation. Even with an estimated 1.37 million acres of farmland, the average farm size is about 160 acres with over 60 percent being less than 100 acres. However, there is a pocket of potato and broccoli fields in northwestern Maine that depend on agricultural aviation to survive; and Matthew Carmichael starts his day, sometimes at 0300, to make sure that happens. Matthew Carmichael is the owner of MG Cropduster - a two-aircraft northwestern Maine operation that utilizes two geared, R-1340-powered 600 Thrush, both of which look like they did when they rolled off the assembly line of the Ayres Thrush factory in 1978. Carmichael is the only active operator in Maine, which is a unique title in itself. He was born and raised on a potato, broccoli and hay farm (99% of the crop in the area) less than ten miles from his operation on the Presque Isle (pronounced Preskisle) airport. It was there that he saw his predecessor, Mike Lavoie, treat his family’s fields.

From those early moments on, Matt knew he was going to be in the ag aviation business. Mike Lavoie took the reins of the flying service in the early 1970s from Joe Virchow, who started the flying service in the 1950s. At that time, Joe was running Stearmans. When Mike bought the business after Joe’s passing, he purchased a D-model Snow, then eventually replaced it with a 1978 600 Thrush. The ‘78 model 600 Thrush is still in operation today, 100% accident-free.

“On July 4, 2015 I was working my 502 in a wind generator farm when I flew through a power line. At the last moment before impact I actually saw the wire but felt nothing, no tug, drag or yaw. The Storm Cutters™ went through the wireCUTTERS like a hot knife through butter.” – Doug Carthel, Jordan Air, Inc. Okeene, Oklahoma No.1 Original one we did earlier

Matt Carmichael started working on the ground for Mike in 1989 while in high school, learning the business from the ground up. He took flying lessons when the weather and workload permitted with the full intention of ag flying. Matt’s first season was in 1994 in a Weatherly 201 that Mike had leased for Matt to get his feet wet. Matt flew the Weatherly for a season, then with an unexpected downturn in the Maine ag economy hit, Matt migrate to North Dakota to continue to learn the ag business. In North Dakota, Matt flew a 600 Thrush and Ag Husky. He returned to his homeland the following year, rotating between Mike’s operation and upstate New York, wherever work was needed. In 2000, Matt bought the 1978 Thrush he flies today and started solely working with Mike as a contractor. As time progressed and Mike eyeing retirement, Matt bought the operation in 2005. Matt has kept the equipment just as Mike had it, updating GPS systems and application technology when necessary. Both Thrush have SATLOC guidance systems with flow control units. The nozzle arrangement is unique in that they are positioned opposite of how southern-based operators typically mount theirs, with the nozzle body above the boom to allow water to drain and keep from freezing in the extremely cold Maine winters. MG Cropdusters treat about a 50/50 mix of potatoes and broccoli when flying over row crops. There are some

the train Matt Carmichael spends his off time across the border in Canada and with good reason. His fiancé, Sara Caines, owns and operates Fresh - a one of a kind 4-diamond restaurant located inside a 1930s era train car. Florenceville-Bristol is a minuscule community just across the U.S./Canada line and eating at “the train”, as the locals call it, is a must-do on any visitor’s list.

Broccoli planting is staggered beginning the end of April with the first insecticide treatment starting the end of May. Broccoli is extremely susceptible to cabbage looper and diamondback moth - they will infiltrate the head of the plant and it will become useless. Applications over broccoli are largely dependent on the level of insect pressure. Toward the end of September, the weather begins to cool and Matt’s season winds down. All maintenance on the aircraft for the next season has to be accomplished before severe cold weather arrives. Aircraft are stripped down, annual inspections performed and everything is overall readied for next year. Engines are pickled for the upcoming cold weather hibernation and the hangar is inventoried and reorganized. Usually, the first of March is when Matt ventures back to the airport to start gearing up for a potential insecticide run on trees or just get ready to fight bugs and diseases to keep potatoes and broccoli on our tables.

Potato applications begin the first of July with five GPA fungicide work, as many as 10-15 applications, some of which will have some insecticide mixes, depending on the insect pressure threshold. Potato applications will end in September after a defoliant herbicide has been applied by ground to “topkill” the plant for better harvesting results. Designed for Mosquito Abatement

by Bill Lavender The 2016 season is coming to a somewhat close for many operators and pilots throughout the world. The results are all over the board, but for many - as you will read below, a slight downturn in their season was experienced. This, contrasted with good fungicide runs in Canada and several states labels the 2016 season as a mixture of good and not as good year. The following comments from operators around the world were provided to me in preparation for a trip to Australia the end of August and first of September of this year. I knew the operators that I would be visiting there would want to know what was going on in the rest of the ag-aviation world. Thank you to those operators featured here who took time to help prepare me for my travels Down Under.

sodium chlorate on rice. We are waiting on cotton defoliation and winter pre-emerge applications to start, which in the past have really been good to us.

Toby McPherson/ND - All is good here, but has been a little slower season for most around here. Commodity prices play a big factor, of which has been very low for most crops.

Frankie Williams/GA - We are having a little less than a normal year. Mostly because the cotton acreage is down from the last couple years. Our customer base has about 25% less cotton than last year. From what I’m hearing from around the state,

Shaun Kinniburgh/CAN - Canada has seen what could be summed up as a well above average year for most areas. Forestry is very strong in Eastern Canada with spruce budworm spraying keeping a lot of planes busy throughout the spring and early summer. The prairies started out seeding in average to very dry soil conditions but that all changed around the end of June and the moisture seems to not want to stop. It made for a great fungicide run for most operators. It seemed like the country didn’t have enough aircraft to keep up this year which is a great problem to have.

Marc Mullis/Fires - Overall very slow, compared to a 10-year average; hours flown up, due to aggressive initial attack approach to fighting fires. Drew Keahey/LA - Actually dollar-wise, we are above where we normally are this time of the year. Really busy now spraying cotton and soybeans for worms. Rice was good to us this year as well. Defoliation on cotton should begin in 3-4 weeks. Reed has been playing catchup for about a week now due to rain that we normally don't get in August. Ricky Davidson/MS - My season here in the Mississippi Delta has been slower than usual. We won't be finished until early October, but my projection is that we will be at 75-80% of our usual gross. With commodity prices being low for cotton, soybeans and corn, my customers moved into "survival mode" (don't spend anything unless absolutely necessary). We were really wet here early, then had a drought. During the dry weeks, a lot of the nitrogen on our corn was applied by ground. I believe these were the two biggest factors that have caused us to be slower than normal.

70

Dennie Stokes/AR - We have had a good season so far, but it is definitely slowing down. Our rice acres was back up to average, so that really helped. But our wheat acres were off considerably. One thing that will hurt us is most new soybean herbicides will not have an aerial label due mostly to drift and volatility issues. Because of weed resistance to glysophate, the chemical companies are bringing out the big guns. Cotton acres have made a small comeback and we love to spray cotton. Currently, we are spraying fungicides and insecticides on soybeans and applying

it’s pretty much the same for everyone. I’m guessing that we are at about 90-95% of the same gross as last year, at this time, but there won’t be as much cotton to defoliate, so we’ll probably end up at about 90%. Jeff Chorman/Northeast - Wheat acres were down about 15%, but it was really wet here so we made up for it by not having any ground rigs in the fields. Weather was awful in the spring, so it was a hard wheat run. Corn was dragged out due to how wet the spring was and planting was dragged out, as well. In fact, we still have about 300 acres of corn to spray the end of this week. We are applying fungicide on soybeans, but it won't be much. Cover crops look to be about the same this year as last, since the government hasn't cut the program. Mosquito control is normal. I haven't seen any more spraying because of Zika. I think it's gonna be a decent year. Grant Lane/Texas - My thinking is that everyone - for the most part - is experiencing an average to above average season. I know there are spots that are subpar, but I believe the others overshadow them. I haven't talked much to operators in Mississippi lately, as the last time I was there they were dry and flying was down. The guys in Montana were busy in the area that I recently delivered an AT-502A. Ret Orsmond/ South Africa - The last South Africa season, June 2015 - May 2016, was probably the worst ever. This was due to terrible droughts in all areas of South Africa, which became an

importer of grain, normally an exporter. In the past, we either had a bad season at the Cape (southern headland of South Africa) and a good one on the Highveld (inland plateau of South Africa) or vica versa. The past season was bad everywhere, including Natal (eastern South Africa). Sugarcane farmers have also suffered badly due to droughts. Even the fire season was abnormally quiet due to unseasonal rains in firefighting areas. The weather was a bit screwed up. Irrigated areas were average due to water restrictions. So, all in all, a very difficult time. This current season, started June 2016, has started a bit better with the Cape season having good rains. My son, Michael, is busy there and tells me that it could be a normal to slightly above normal season. We had some early rain in the Highveld area and crops are now going in. Farmers are more positive and the feeling is good for the coming season. We are really grateful for this. Firefighting, however, is still quiet and the season will be below average. Zimbabwe is still in a terrible state due to its president, Mugabe. I think there is only one serviceable ag aircraft there, but it hardly worked. When Mugabe is gone, things will start happening again, but it will take a long time. Malawi and Zambia had reasonably good seasons, but this was due to an aphid outbreak in sugarcane. So, ag operators are buoyant there, but farmers are poorer. Their crops were also affected by some dry areas.

Jared Storm/ NE - The 2016 spray season had a slow start. Favorable spring weather led to very little disease and pest pressure. By mid-July, however, acres started coming in as growers were spraying fungicides more for the plant health aspect rather than for disease control alone. We did have a few isolated cases of Northern Corn Leaf Blight and Gray Leaf Spot, but other than that there was no widespread corn disease. We also had our first experience spraying for Japanese Beetles, a pest normally found east of the Mississippi River. They were found in both corn and soybean fields. Our soybean fungicide acres have remained steady the past several seasons as more and more growers have seen a consistent yield increase from spraying soybeans. In the end, our total acres treated were slightly down from the past few seasons, but after a slow start we are pleased with the season’s results. Rick Richter/CA - As far as the California season, speaking for myself, I can say that it was a good one; about as good as they come. Our last fungicide jobs were on the 16th of August and that was pretty much about the end of the season for us here in the Sacramento Valley. Most operators in the Sac Valley area are going to report the same. The full water deliveries for most districts north of Sacramento meant 100% rice planting, which is always a plus for ag operators. With rice at full tilt, comes mosquitoes. There are a few operators with contracts to do the spraying and I think they're having a decent year.

I haven't heard a whole lot about the season for the guys in the San Joaquin Valley, other than I know that there were water restrictions; mostly due to the Delta Smelt and all the “hoopla” around that. Lachlan Hill/Queensland Australia - We are coming out of our winter season at full blast. We have received steady rain and all the winter crops look good; wheat, barley and chickpeas. All our aircraft (18) are in the air working at full speed ahead of forecast rain applying mostly fungicide, dry urea and insecticides. It has been a good winter season and the outlook for the upcoming season looks very good.

Cascade Aircraft Conversions CEO Doran Rogers announced the receipt of the PT6A-41/42 STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) from the FAA for the Thrush Aircraft. This STC for Thrush aircraft is a 100 horsepower increase over the factory PT6A-34 powered Thrush. The 850 SHP upgrade to the 500-gallon Thrush will allow ag operators to be more productive. The PT6A-41/42 engine produces continuous horsepower up to 106° OAT. The more powerful engine allows the Thrush to carry a full load every day of the year in high temperature/ high altitude environments, increasing acres per hour flown. The PT6A-41/42 engine is mounted in a new, extended engine mount that balances the aircraft and comes with all new cowling from the firewall forward. This power upgrade for the Thrush also includes the Cascade Pressure Cowl, which has been providing more positive pressure air to the engine which lowers ITT temps and a filtration system that not only protects the PT6A engine from the harsh agricultural environments, but is easy to access for service. This STC for the Thrush is in addition to the most recent 850 SHP STC received by Cascade Aircraft

Conversions two years ago for the Air Tractor AT-502/502B giving the most popular capacity agricultural aircraft the ability to be more productive. Please contact Scott Kinzer at scott@ cascadeaircraftconversions.com for more information.

Thrush looking for the durability and productivity the aircraft from Albany, Georgia provide. Concluded Mr. Phillips: “South American spray operations are some of the most challenging in the world – and everyone at Thrush is dedicated to supporting operations here at the very highest level. The Chalking team will allow us to do just that – and with the same commitment to quality and service in Uruguay that Thrush has become known for around the world.” Serviced & Supported in Uruguay – This Thrush 510G, and others like it, will now be supported by Charles Chalking S.A. in Paysandú, Uruguay – the company’s newest factory authorized Service Center in South America.

Corr visits Down Under by Alan Corr, Agri-Spray Consulting Part 2 Finally, on Thursday, it was time to pattern test aircraft. There are three separate ag operations at the Griffith airport and all three operations (Thomson Aviation, SkyCroppers, and Riverina Helicopters) were involved with the pattern testing. There were only six aircraft to test that day including three R44 Ravens, an AT504, AT-502, and AT-402, but a number of tests were conducted on each aircraft including different rates (30 to 50 liters/ hectare or approximately 3 to 5 gallons/ acre) and various deflection settings. Each of the Air Tractors utilized the CP11TT nozzle, while the helicopters used TeeJet nozzles. At the swath width used, all but one of the aircraft had an excellent pattern with surprisingly low CVs. One aircraft had an acceptable CV,

“Dominic Maher (1) piloted SkyCroppers AT 504 and Gary Mexted (2) piloted SkyCroppers AT 402. Both planes were fitted with CP11TT nozzles and at the desired swath width, tested tremendously well for pattern uniformity.

We had a number of aircraft to test the following day in Griffith, but since it was supposed to rain all day, it was decided that we would complete the pattern testing in Griffith at a later date and use the rain day as a travel day. My wife,

for conducting pattern testing. By mid-morning, we were ready to begin testing. As I inspected the aircraft prior to testing, I noticed a bent boom hanger on one of the turbine aircraft and brought it to Lindsay’s attention. He said that a few days ago when he was landing, a kangaroo decided to hop across the strip and the encounter resulted in the bent boom hanger along with the removal of the step to get into the cockpit. The kangaroo fared far worse than the Thrush. After a long day, we had completed 51 passes with different rates, additives, deflection settings and nozzle types. We tested with CP11TTs, CP03s, and Micronair rotary atomizers. Obviously, the atomizers are utilized when a small droplet size is desired, however, we compared the atomizers to the CP11TT with a 90-degree deflection on a 502 and found that the VMD was similar, but the relative span was much better with the CP11TT nozzles. That evening, we went out with Lindsay and his wife Susan, and the entire Rural Air Work crew and their spouses to a local pub for drinks, dinner and more drinks. It was a fantastic meal, and the great time we had visiting with everyone from Rural Air Work will be in our memories forever. What a great group they are! Sunday morning, we spent several hours wrapping up things at Rural Air Work and headed back south to Warren, N.S.W. for a planned day of testing planes on Monday at Macquarie Valley Ag Services which is owned and operated by John Martin and his son Nigel. After a five-hour drive, we arrived in Warren, spent the night in a motel and arrived at the local airport to test planes early Monday morning. Again, it was raining. I spent some time setting up the computer equipment and inspecting their fleet of Air Tractors that morning, but then we decided to take a tour of the area and wait for the rain to stop. That afternoon the sun did break out and we were able to get several hours of pattern testing done, but there was not enough daylight left to finish the job. We returned early Tuesday morning and quickly ran the additional passes and we were able to finish by noon. I did ask

we were there. Every place Gwen and I went we had people come up and ask us where in the U.S. we were from. When I would ask how they knew we were from the U.S. they would say “your accent – I just love your accent”. I guess they didn’t realize they were the ones with an accent, not us! Whenever we would stop at a pub for a beer, we would meet several people and end up having four or five. Oh well. All aerial application owners, operators and pilots we met in Australia were great people, but I would have expected nothing different. I am very fortunate to be able to work in an industry full of such hard working, dedicated, skilled and friendly individuals no matter what continent I am on.

The aerial application industry in Australia appeared to me to be very similar to the industry here in the United States, only much smaller. They use the same aircraft types, same nozzle types, skilled pilots and knowledgeable operators. In fact, most of the crops are the same, the only difference is that they grow a large variety of crops in the same area which is similar to states like California, but much different than states like Nebraska. The patterns produced by the aircraft I tested were tremendous. In fact, it was hard for me to believe the CVs were that low until I stopped and converted meters to feet. The swath width they utilize was much narrower, in most cases, than what we would see in the U.S. with the same aircraft type. With most planes I tested, the distance between the outside nozzles on each side was only 65% to 70% of the wingspan rather than 75%. Again, patterns were exceptionally uniform, but narrower than I am used to seeing. The Australian people were all so friendly, we met so many great people while

them if there was more testing they would like to do, but they told me that they had received calls to spray tens of thousands of acres as soon as possible, so we packed up and started our return trip to Griffith. When we arrived there that evening, we found out that all of the operators there were booked solid with acres to spray and that was the case for each of the operators we had left to work with. As it turned out, it had been raining so much in most areas of Australia that no ground rigs could get into the field and there were hundreds of thousands of acres of crops that needed sprayed. Good news for the crop dusters, but not good news for this Operation S.A.F.E. analyst! We did manage to test one additional plane prior to departing back for Sydney, but missed out on several days of testing in different locations of the continent. We are planning a return visit to finish the work.

“Simple by Design – Flexible in Application” As an aviation technology company, DynaNav delivers modern and productive solutions to fulfill the current demands of the aerial application industry. The best way to know where to concentrate the technology advancement is by working directly with pilots and operators, as such DynaNav is able to focus on important design requirements. The following is a quick review of what DynaNav has been doing to deliver these solutions. Vektor-Max™ GPS system – There are many advantages of the new Vektor-Max™ system, only a few of these are covered in this article. Our original Vektor™ system has already been proven in the field and from this knowledge, DynaNav has designed the new Vektor-Max™ to integrate all the guidance system needs of today, as well as the future, into a single 6.5” touch screen computer system (no remote boxes). Everything is in this compact system: touch screen color display, the GPS (GNSS), Intel Quad-core Windows 10 computer, flow controller, WIFI, Bluetooth, Telemetry, etc. The Vektor-Max™ touch screen’s complete system is only 2.2 lbs (1 kg). The

complete installation wiring kit with antenna and flow control wiring is 3.5 lbs (1.5 kg) and the super robust lightbar is 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg). The Max Lightbar features new daylight readable LEDs, as well as a unique sunlight filter to block morning and evening sunshine from washing out the display. This system is capable of everything any other lightbar system has and even

more; more importantly, at an affordable price. Imagine a high performance navigation system for under US$15,000 complete with flow control and wireless capability. DynaFlow™ flow control system – The DynaFlow™ was designed to be flexible, connect directly to our DynaFlight System, or standalone using our DynaFlow touch screen HMI with built-in GPS, or open for any other GPS manufacturer to connect to the system (it is up to these manufacturers to provide connection). The unit is designed for a fast response for variable rate applications and can be fitted for any control rate, from very high to very low volume applications. Even better, the DynaFlow™ also has a pressure sensor added to give digital pressure readings, either directly on the DynaFlight system, or on the optional HMI. More importantly, it is also a digitally-controlled pressure switch for any GPS system. This feature allows the pilot to set the boom pressure value to turn on or off the marking to the GPS to any amount required. Transland Hydraulic Gate Controller – DynaNav has been working closely with Transland and their customers to modernize the hydraulic gate system to meet requirements for accuracy as well as variable rate control. In order to accomplish this, Transland developed a new gate design, the 7 ½” gate with a wide range in application rates, as well as high speed reaction. DynaNav has designed and developed all the electronics to control the gate(s) and a new pilot interface. The primary design is fully software driven as a multi-role pilot interface.

The complete system is not only a dry material gate controller, but also a controller for the new Fire Gate system developed by Transland. Further to this, it has future built in capabilities through the same pilot interface (coming soon) for the Meterate control and flow control for liquids. DynaFlight-AirAg™ GPS system – Tried and true, DynaFlight systems are the mainstay at DynaNav, proven with 20 years of pilots’ and operators’ experience and feedback. This “Simple by Design” system is highly recommended by user pilots and operators for high accuracy, as well as DynaNav’s very unique “Free Form” navigation systems. Because the system is purely software driven, DynaNav is continuously bringing on new features and capabilities to meet the current demands of the industry – without obsolescence. Now, with a fully integrated DynaFlow™ flow control, pilots have no worries for easy to use guidance along with a consistent accurate application. Also, with DynaNav’s Hot Swap Drag & Drop feature it is easy and simple for operators and pilots to use shape files. In the office, Drag & Drop all shape files onto the USB data stick, then plug into the DynaFlight system and it automatically Hot Swaps by uploading all the new job files and then downloads all the completed jobs onto the USB. Bottom line – talk to pilots and operators that use DynaNav products and services; just like them, you won’t be disappointed.

Lane/Aeroglobo tours Pratt & Whitney Canada in Montreal The company held a tour in North America from July 26th to August 4th Oshkosh

Montreal - PWC

For the seventh time, employees from AeroGlobo attended the EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh to visit the world’s largest aviation fair in the U.S.A. Over 14,000 modern and historic experimental and military aircraft were on display.

One particular and memorable moment of the trip was the unexpected arrival of 22 AeroGlobo Brazilian ag aviation partners to the Montreal-based turbine

Oshkosh’s air show certainly didn’t disappoint. Beautifully set up by individuals passionate about aviation, the event showcased unexpected excitement, and was truly a must-see. Air Tractor revealed the new AT-502XP aircraft at the event, and visitors learned about it from Rick Turner, the company’s Vice-President of Operations. At Oshkosh, Air Tractor hosted a savory BBQ dinner and invited the Brazilian group, who got to see Rick’s grilling skills, first-hand. There were plenty of tasty meats and cold beer at the feast.

Chicago Once the show ended, the group was off to Chicago to shop, eat, and take in all the attractions of the “Windy City”.

the company’s employees, including John Saabas, the President of PWC, who gave us a tour of his factory. The group visited the production areas, and watched as support and testing were performed. Everyone was impressed with the arrangement, value and the eminence of the company. Over the course of the trip, we were graced with the presence of the technical representative of the PWC in Brazil, Claudio Ponce. At the conclusion of the visit, the PWC served us lunch as we socialized in a relaxed atmosphere. New connections and

AT-602: Trim your overhead. You’ll reduce costs and increase profit margins when you scale a multi-plane operation down to a single-plane operation. Air Tractor’s AT-602 makes it an easy choice.
