I have been taking photographs for several years now. It became a hobby (maybe an addiction) when a friend introduced me to her Nikon DSLR. After playing with the camera for a while I knew that I was hooked. Ever since I have been expanding on my photography interests, always challenging myself to take it to the next level, find new subjects, and explore new techniques.

I have never been much into telling stories with my photographs, but rather trying to capture the essence of the subject, beyond what meets the eye. I believe the immaterial in photographs tells a much better story than an attempt at narration. From trying to capture the sublime in broad landscapes to the individuality of people, from finding the energy everyday streets to the scale of towering buildings disappearing into the sky, I beleive that photography can give us perspective into the things we may otherwise ignore.

My biggest inspirations have been Steve McCurry, Edward Burtynsky, Andreas Gursky, Sebastio Selgado, Ansel Adams, Nick Brandt, Juluis Shulman, and Iwan Baan, to name a few. I only hope to someday produce photographs as good as them.
