Creating Dream Come True Moments
TEAM
REPORT SUMMER 2020
Today is the Day! Flags are blowing in the breeze and excitement is in the air. Fans are sporting the colors of their favorite team. In the distance we hear the sound of popcorn popping and the smell of fresh cut grass draws our eyes to the immaculately groomed eld. Players take to the eld to stretch and warm up for the competition ahead. At home plate, umpires and managers shake hands as the teams move to the rst and third base lines for introductions and the singing of the National Anthem. A child stands meekly by the home team dugout preparing for a scary, yet a dream come true moment. After receiving encouragement and a microphone from the stadium program director, the child takes a deep breath, summoning inner strength and bellows out “Play Ball!”. With pride and a joyful stride, the child runs into his families’ embrace and will now forever be known as the brave one that seized the opportunity to announce the familiar phrase on opening day at the ballpark, experiencing a never to be forgotten dream come true moment.

We are looking forward to connecting with fans again and getting back out on the eld as soon as possible.

We walk by faith, not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7

Growing up in Linden, California, I was able to watch my parents work as educators to help shape our community and its young people. During my senior year at Linden High School, the senior class paid for renovations for our baseball eld. Every day, as a team, we would go out and rake it, water it, and mow it. After each practice, we would tend to anything that needed to be done. We knew the work we were doing benetted us, but we also knew that the guys coming after us would get to play on a beautiful eld. It was a moment when I realized that we all have a part to play for those that come after.
Like many of my teammates, I was in awe watching Derek Jeter play. After being drafted, I learned quickly that the organization isn’t about one guy. There is a long history to the Yankee’s franchise, and it is something special to have Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite, Ron Guidry, and Reggie Jackson checking in with us during spring training and the regular season. These guys make you feel like you are a part of something bigger. We are just the next guys up. I think a lot about how I can show those coming up through the Yankees system what this legacy means for all of us.
With the All Rise Foundation, I am hoping to help create that feeling for other kids. My Mom likes to remind me that humans need to be physiologically and socially comfortable, as well as psychologically happy, to be good learners. As we grow this platform, we look to assist children to feel that they can follow in strong footsteps and also lead those coming behind them.

of Afliates, event sponsors, and donors we have been able to establish a strong line-up of programs. In our “rst inning” we focused on Aaron’s hometown of Linden, California and grew into his college hometown of Fresno, California. After two fundraising dinners, two Aaron Judge ProCamp baseball/softball camps, one $2,500 Mini-Grant distribution, sending over 100 student delegates to leadership conferences, collaborating with #ICANHELP to support digital citizenship, supporting Bronx youth via Bronx Educational All Star Day, we have generated a three year cycle that will take us to New York in the future. None of this would be possible without Aaron’s vision and the support of our donors. We are so very thankful for our sponsors and afliates. We are grateful for the generosity we have received and feel blessed to be able to be a blessing to others. ALL RISE Foundation strives to take advantage of every opportunity to make a difference; to provide a child with an opportunity to grow into a responsible citizen. As we wait for our lives to regain some normalcy and our story unfolds, we will keep you informed with foundation news that is worth knowing. We want you to have a chance to know ALL RISE Foundation up close and personal. Join us to create opportunities for children and youth to experience dream come true moments. leadership skills. Tokay Colony 4-H models these skills, and I am pleased and honored that they are receiving this grant,” states ALL-RISE Founder Aaron Judge. Kim Warmedam, 4-H volunteer adds “The kids are so excited because they now have a much-needed tool to help them as they prepare their animals to be shown, and later sold.” This particular program teaches kids the necessary steps to not only successfully raise an animal, but it also teaches them commitment and time management. The Aaron Judge ALL-RISE Foundation proudly named the Tokay Colony 4 H Club as our rst mini-grant recipient on March 9, 2020. Our mini-grants seek to support programs that inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens. Tokay Colony 4-H has done just that for nearly 65 years. “The agricultural community of San Joaquin County has many opportunities to teach our youth how to manage their responsibilities raising livestock and developing ALL RISE Foundation President Patty Judge presents our rst Mini-Grant to Tokay Colony 4H Swine Unit.
