VAILO was founded in 2012 by visionary CEO Aaron Hickmann as a lighting wholesaler with the unwavering goal of promoting Australian high-tech manufacturing.
The vision of Aaron James Hickmann became a reality in 2022, and the business went from being an importer to being a manufacturer.

In the same year, VAILO became a solutions provider of LED digital displays, expanding on the sports venue offering. As of today, VAILO has delivered a significant number of LED lighting and digital display installs across Australia for grassroots sports clubs, stadiums, professional sporting clubs and leagues, schools and colleges, councils, and major events.

From Sport NSW, Sport SA, and Vic Sport to the VAILO Adelaide 500, Hawthorn Football Club, and Ai Group, to name a few, VAILO has strong partnerships with numerous organizations that cover a variety of sports and events.
VAILO is well-positioned to expand its international presence in the coming year by exporting digital displays and LED lighting products that are Australiandesigned and manufactured. The growth of VAILO, its unique position as Australia’s only producer of premium stadium lighting – manufacturing onshore – and its increasing international footprint is being recognized.
