This project, done in the second term of my third year of undergraduate, builds on the research and brief set out in the first term. The main driver of this project was to create a truly inclusive and sustainable place - one that bridges barriers across people, but also with the environment. Our studio considers non-human clients to be as important as humans, so the voices and languages of both are carefully considered as the project develops. The term Polyphony (title of the project) derives from Bhaktin's principle of Polyphony wherein the co-existence of varied voices is needed to build a sustainable future. This was the start of the whole project, hence it is fitting to be the title.
