All About AAH Magazine AAH (All About Horsham) is an independent magazine, owned and produced by Ben Morris, a life-long resident of the Horsham District. It is printed every month on high quality gloss A4 paper.

Since the magazine was first published in May 2011, AAH has been renowned for its colourful features and superb photography by Toby Phillips.

We believe that our editorial content is unrivalled in the Horsham District.

Thanks to its “refreshing” tone and innovative ideas including the popular ‘My Story So Far’ and ‘One to Watch’ features, AAH has been a tremendous success, with circulation increasing by 100% in five years.

From the outset, we have strived to highlight the best that Horsham has to offer. We do not publish crime or court reports. Instead, we focus on inspirational people, talented artists and musicians, successful businesses, popular clubs, local events and through our close association with Horsham Museum, the fascinating history of the area.

2011: We printed 10,000 copies of AAH, delivering directly through doors

2012: Our circulation grew to 12,000 copies and we introduced our first ‘pick-up’ stands in The Carfax.

2013: We continued to expand, with 13,000 copies and new stands at Horsham Station and Leisure Centres.

2014: Our print run grew to 15,000, with new rural rounds in Storrington, Steyning and Thakeham.

2015: Our circulation shot up to 18,000 copies, with a new stand in Swan Walk Shopping Centre

2016: With 20,000 copies, AAH is made available at Tesco and Sainsbury’s

TESCO Hundreds of copies are picked up at a free collection point at the Tesco in Broadbridge Heath.

Teachers from a Horsham-based Cuban dance group were recently invited to Russia to teach a master class in the ‘Casino’ style. Having presented their first international workshop in 2015, Nick and Anya Woolley, members of the Guild of Professional Teachers of Dance, travelled to the town of Tambov to demonstrate Cuban Casino. The Horsham Symphony Orchestra performs its spring concert at The Capitol on Saturday 25 March.

The concert opens with a performance of Schubert’s Six German Dances. This will be followed

by Berg’s Violin Concerto, a hauntingly beautiful 20th century

Nick: They can be. Cars such as the Ferrari F430 are something to enjoy at the weekend rather than an everyday driving vehicle. David: We certainly have a few clients who change their cars every six to 12 months as they want a different experience. That is what car enthusiasts are like. Whether it’s classic cars or modern supercars, our job at Premier GT is to help them fuel their passion.

An awful lot of money and hard work goes into these productions and they need to be given time. But I do think theatres are more cautious now. They cannot afford flops so they’re not as willing to take a risk on the unknown.

I enjoyed a spell at St George's Shakespeare Theatre, which focused on education and school parties. They would stage several Shakespeare plays in a repertoire involving lots of costumes, so I was working long hours.

I did miss the buzz of the musicals, although I returned to St George’s for another season a few years later. That was a mistake, as it's never a good idea to go back to something you enjoyed first time around. Things as never the same.

I fell pregnant with my first daughter at around the time I went on tour with Philomena. It starred Joan Plowright and was one of the most star-studded casts I can recall, although most were just embarking on their careers, including Pierce Brosnan and Trevor Eve. From there, I worked on Blythe Spirit, starring Joanna Lumley, who is perhaps the most warm and friendly famous person I met in all my years in theatre.

Theatres were starting to look for new ideas in their shows. One such production was The Black Mikado at The Cambridge, an update on Gilbert and Sullivan's opera with an all black cast. It was great fun, very visual with lots of colourful sequin dresses. A more unusual one was Trafford Tanzi, starring Toyah Willcox, which was set in the wrestling ring. I also worked on The Mystery of Edwin Drood, starring Lulu and Ernie Wise. It was Dickens' last book and was never completed, so .

David: People will always look for areas to confidently invest their money and by purchasing classic and modern classic cars, they have an investment that is not only going to grow faster than their money in the bank, but also they have something they can look at, drive and enjoy. A good condition, low mileage Ferrari Testarossa (1984-91) could have been bought for £60,000 a decade ago and would now be worth comfortably triple that amount. So, it’s understandable that people are putting money aside for classic cars.

It also took a while to scrape up the last of the butterscotch sauce with my finger. It was a fine way to round off a very good meal.

With great food, great beer and the regulars providing a politely vibrant atmosphere, The Roger Tichborne is well worth a visit.

Unlike its namesake, The Tich is the real deal.

Toby devoured his lovely raspberry cheesecake in a matter of seconds, whilst I spent a little more time enjoying each bite of my sticky toffee pudding, seeing as it had cost 55p more.
