HILLSIDE RETREAT

This project was to create a vacation home in the Napa Valley for three friends. The building had to show exact repition with the bedrooms and had to block off what the 'client' considered bad views. For this project my intention with the living area was to seperate it from the office area. The transitional space between the areas is connected with a hallway that is open to the outside. The idea was to create a nice journey so that work does not feel like home. A library and office are in the work area. As for the living area, each bedroom has their own bathroom and deck to the peferred views. A living room and kitchen with dinning space greet the entrance of this home.
