AALI is designed to enhance civic awareness and leadership opportunities to affect long-term action required to create equity, opportunity and a higher quality of life for all citizens.

Our mission is to build a stronger Black Austin community by equipping leaders to live up to their moral responsibility to seek to make life better for everyone in our city, state, and the world.

We know that by empowering leaders to affect change through a lens of cultural consideration and responsiveness, we will also help to attract talented African Americans to move to, work and play in our city as full participants in a booming local economy.

Austin offers numerous economic, educational, and social opportunities just waiting to be discovered. AALI’s annual conference welcomes Black leaders,wealthbuilders,entrepreneursandprofessionals from all across the state and beyond to gather for an inspiring day of uniquely curated professional and personal development and networking opportunities designed to refresh, restore, educate, and maximize connections.

As they journey through the conferencewiththispassportactivity,guests will collect stamps from each business to qualify for rewards at the end of the conference. This engaging experience promotes interaction and provides valuable connectionsforpartnersandattendees

ATTENDEE JOURNEY | STEP ONE

Upon check-in, every conference attendee will receive their exclusive "Passport" card, their guide to an immersive and rewarding experience at the EmpowermentExpoHall.

ThisPassportoutlinesallthedynamicexhibitorspresent, eachrepresentingapillarofBlackwealthandwellness.

Their Mission: Visit each exhibitor’s table, engage with their offerings, and collect a unique sticker for the Passport. Each interaction not only enriches their knowledge and network but also brings them one step closertoqualifyingforourexcitingraffleprize!

ATTENDEE JOURNEY | STEP TWO

Attendees will immerse themselves in an enriching experience as they explore booths from a diverse array of Blackowned businesses and organizations dedicated to empowering the community. From expert legal advice to financial planning, health and wellness services to homeownership resources, our Expo Hall is a one-stop hub for all things essential to leading a balanced and prosperous life.

ATTENDEE JOURNEY | STEP THREE

Attendees will complete their Passport experience by visiting all exhibitors, to be entered to win an exclusive raffle prize, adding an extra layer of excitement and incentive to their Expo experience.

Once they have visited all exhibitors, to culminate their passport journey, they will be instructed to deposit their passport card at the FUB table where they will be able to meet & greet with the spend life wisely ambassadors.

At the X-Lounge Reception, attendees will visit the AALI Info desk where they will receive their Conference Certificate. To culminate the evening, attendees will mingle at the official conference reception & the winner of the raffle will be drawn!
