Analysis of Results

The 12 parents interviewed showed very high levels of satisfaction with all of the program elements

as shown by high mean scores on all of the rating questions (above four on the five point scale). The comments show the depth of their satisfaction and appreciation for the services and program staff.

Benefits

Once coronavirus pandemic restrictions are substantially eased, greater participation in the activities above will allow adults to focus more on employment and skill development, and the students will be able to focus more fully on their studies. Families that have been experiencing instability and inconsistent access to resources and support will be able to establish new norms of stability and consistency in their personal and professional lives.

Objective 5: Improve Student Outcomes

Intended Results

AAF expects children living at Julian Place will find improved success in school in both academic and non-academic outcomes. The Logic Model anticipates growth in the following areas: • Improved school attendance • Improved access to educational services, if needed • Improved engagement in extra-curricular activities • Improved performance in school learning • Improved test scores • Improved percent advancement to next grade • Improved likelihood of graduation from high school and enrollment in post-secondary education • Improved social skills
