Zai Miztiq is a name synonymous with perseverance and success. Today she stands tall, a beacon of empowerment, but this has not always been the case. Zai has faced many challenges along the way. On the fateful afternoon of April 22, 2005, the entire trajectory of her life changed. While travelling home, the taxi she was in collided with a stationary truck, almost rendering her paralyzed. Three weeks following her accident, she was left with 8 screws and 2 metal rods in her back.

A year after her accident, Zai started to question her life’s purpose and her aspirations. This was no simple task for Zai as she had to find her path on her own. Overcoming the feelings of helplessness and despair, she found the clarity she so desperately searched for.

Her tribulations did not stop her from achieving greatness. 10 years to the date of her accident, she released her first book. The book, titled ‘Turn your Passion into Profit’ was an autobiography styled book detailing her journey to recovery. Zai’s hope was to inspire and empower others to achieve their full potential. The following year she released her second book, ‘5 Things I Love About Being a Woman’

Her journey to self-discovery led to travels across the globe and her subsequent book, a travelogue titled “Who I am”. The book exposed her to a newfound mission - spending time to be in the service of youths and sisterhood.

Zai believes that she was given a second chance at life and has found a new meaning to it. Her experiences allow her to make a difference to the lives of others. She says, “My dream is to help people believe that they can be whatever they want to be with faith and love”.

Living her dream as a 2x Amazon Best Selling Author, a travelling trainer and motivational speaker, she has moved on to documenting her journey in videos which are uploaded to learning platforms for others to utilize.

Today, Zai is an alumni and mentor of the Women’s Leadership Academy of the US Department of State. In 2019 she was nominated for the “Most Compassionate Womenreneur” award and went on to win the “Kindest Advocate” award and ambassador of Voice of Loving Kindness by Singapore Kindness Movement. In March 2020, she was recognised as “Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All” at the Women Economic Forum.
