The Process of Nature Art

Istarted by going out to collect leaves that were flexible and had long stems.
Next, I began to link them by creating a hole and pushing the stems through.
I then continued to link the leaves into a large enough chain.
Then I connected the beginning of the crown to the end.
Afterwords I modeled the final product to show how nature is connected to women in a powerful way.
The concept of this piece is to show how feminity is intertwined with the cycle of life.
By placing the crown on a dead tree, it is to convey the mistreatment of Earth and women as a whole.
