Travel often requires a unique blend of adventuresome spirit, physical and mental alertness, and a capacity for accepting situations as they arise. AAA Group Travel understands that different people have different preferences and abilities when it comes to the pace of their travel experiences; therefore, our tours have been developed with a variety of activity levels to choose from. The activity levels are designed to help travelers select the pace that is right for them. Please refer to the tour description for specific activity level information.

Activity levels are progressive in nature.

= RELAXED – Leisurely pace; shorter touring days; some physical activity required, including independently boarding and disembarking a motorcoach and managing one’s own baggage.

= COMFORTABLE – Easy pace; some stairs and standing; short duration walks typically on level terrains.

= ACTIVE – Moderate pace; good mobility needed; stairs and prolonged standing for more than 2 hours at a time; some longer days involving early mornings and/or late evenings; some walking on varied terrain. This Activity Level is not recommended for travelers with mobility issues such as someone who uses a cane, walker, or wheelchair.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Depart by motorcoach from Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse with your AAA Group Travel Tour Host to New York City’s JFK Airport for your overnight flight to Italy.

Day 2 Arrive in Naples and meet your local tour guide and transfer to your hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before a welcome cocktail, orientation, and group dinner.

Day 3 Full-day guided tour along the Amalfi Coast. Visit Ravello for its stunning views, then continue to Amalfi to explore its historic center and the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Dinner is at a local restaurant.

Day 4 Enjoy a traditional limoncello tasting and discover local production techniques. Explore the village of Minori with time for shopping and leisure. In the evening, participate in a hands-on pasta-making class with a master chef, followed by dinner.
