ADMISSION

Admission to the Expo trade show and various training sessions is complimentary for all legitimate trade visitors from the automotive and collision repair industries. Simply ensure you have registered, and upon entry, provide proof of industry affiliation if requested.

Technical Training Program sessions led by Diagnose Dan and Sean Tipping (as part of the AAAExpo), as well as Dirk Fuch’s special 4 hour Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness session are ticketed, paid sessions. Those with paid apprentice tickets must be able to supply proof of apprenticeship status at venue entrance if requested.

This fantastic course is a great overview of EV systems and safety and is designed for technicians and anyone else involved in EVs as part of their work.

Learning outcomes include how to identify different types of EVs, EV system principles, the hazards surrounding high voltage electrical systems, and how to safely work around these vehicles.

DIRK FUCHS - CEO, ELECTRIC MOBILITY CONSULTING

Dirk is a renowned expert and speaker in Hybrid & EV technology, based in the U.S. With over 20 years automotive experience, Dirk is now the founder of Electric Mobility Consulting, a company developed to meet the high demand for in-depth technical information.

Dirk’s impressive resume includes technical training roles in Volkswagen and ZF in Germany, before serving as ZF North American Training Manager, and most recently as Director, Technical Programs & Services at I-CAR.

SCOTT KABOOS – OEM COLLISION REPAIR TECHNICAL LEAD, I-CAR

Prior to joining I-CAR full-time in 2022, Scott had spent the prior five years with American Honda where he developed their Collision Repair Technical and Training Program.

Scott brings decades of experience as both a structural repair technician, General Manager and a college instructor for Collision Repair and Refinishing.

Scott’s role within I-Car will focus on building strong and valuable relationships with all OEMs as a technical resource and “Linking Pin” between the OEM’s, I-Car and the industry.

ROBERT SNOOK – OWNER & CEO, BUSINESS SUCCESS GLOBAL

Robert is a multi-award-winning business owner, global keynote speaker, professional event moderator, respected business coach, consultant, mentor and trainer.

Earlier in his career, Robert became a qualified automotive paint technician, before a successful stint in the corporate world.

Robert is the owner and CEO of Business Success Global where he can exercise his passion for couaching and mentoring with people and organisations around the world.

LESLEY YATES – DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY, AAAA

Lesley is Director of Government Relations and Advocacy for the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association. Lesley manages AAAA advocacy campaigns, designing creative and innovative solutions to address the greatest challenges facing our industry and then lobbying and encouraging government to make the right decisions to support our industry.

In 2021, after a decade of AAAA campaigning for fair and open competition, the new motor vehicle repair law was passed in Australian Parliament.

This legislation is the result of a tireless and persistent grassroots campaign by the AAAA.

Lesley is now tackling our ongoing substantial industry challenges, including the workforce shortage crisis and government vehicle modification regulations.
