This project is about combining a vast natural landscape and undressed body.
I would like to represent the sense of freedom and the unique point of view.
As a teenager, it is essential to speak out for our genuine mindset.

I attempted to create a random curve line. on the patterns and sewed them together. And then the volume would increase due to the seamline.

Floating Light with Ocean
Inspiration
Inspired by the song "Uchiage Hanabi" It described delightful scenery in the summer. Fireworks and the ocean symbolized the youth of Japanese students.

Set-up Installation Project
Before the "Floating Light with the Ocean" project started I created an installation to represent different form of my concept.
Inspired by the Latin word "photography," It means painting with the light. In this project, I would like to have research on the effect of light. So I recorded the pace of light in a day.
Color/Fabric Development
I used digital printing. to represent the gradient color and the reflection of firework on the water. And combined with the different textures of white fabrics.
Structure/Drapping
Wrinkle structure with different fabric
According to the pace of the firework I tried to gather through radial pace.
In order to create the texture that looks like water ripples I tried to create irregular pleats on muslin
As a way to create natural and random structure, I chose to use drapping.
