Friendship and creativity led artists Abu Zaki Hadri, Nemesio Miranda and Karina Jardin to create a platform for fellow artists to promote culture, camaraderie and intercultural dialogue. PeRUPA Malaysia adopted Karina Jardin’s concept called ARTDIALOGO and implemented its first intergovernmental project together with Filipino artists spearheaded by Nemesio Miranda.
ARTDIALOGO is an intercultural dialogue thru the arts which aim to promote culture, tourism and community development. It is patterned from Jardin’s MONDIALOGO experience sponsored by UNESCO and Daimler Chrysler in 2006 where she represented the Philippines as a finalist th. It was a school contest for young adults which urged to create social impact thru innovative ideas and creativity addressing cultural barriers.
