ABOUT US Arclab has been established in 2011 as a research and services company for architectural projects, bringing in the professional experience of the three founding members. The «creative thinking» is the figure of an innovative positioning and strategy that recall many productive sectors of «building» and all the areas connected with it. NA Architects (Naimi & Abtahi Architects), was established in 1986, the company has designed and constructed typologically, diverse projects through decades of experience. At NA Architects built-space is the product of a technical-artful process, which defines the space and guaranties it’s design and construction qualities. Based on our experiences and continual rethinking, we try to find new solutions for each given situation. Arclab and NA Architects has initiated a tight collaboration on diverse projects. Regarding the collaboration of the two studios, Fabrizio Nafesti as one of the founding partners of ARCLAB inscribes as follows: “Arclab company has been operative in Teheran for more than 10 years, with the work of architectural design dedicated mostly on the Concept phase. Thanks to this long experience we had a great opportunity to meet the architectural studio NA and establish a growing collaboration which led us to work together on various prestigious projects in Teheran and Italy. Palazzo Tornabuoni
Location: Farmanieh, Tehran, Iran Typology: Public - Commercial
A well-known industrial Group active in the luxury sector has decided to open its own Flag ship store in Tehran, as identified as a rapidly growing market. The experience gained by Arclab in that country over the past ten years has been the key to be entrusted with the prestigious task of managing its design and work. The space of over 500 square meters develops on two levels and into a new, extremely modern and design building. The challenge was to transform very aseptic and large spaces, over 8 meters high, into a warm and elegant place. In coordination with the Italian headquarters of the Group, a Concept was created and perfectly adapted to the space dimensions and characteristics, transforming the internal image with very prestigious materials such as marble, brass and lacquered woods.

An existing stage, a difficult functional adjustment. The solution is a large bridge, a modern, monumental, surprising transparent spine.
Farhad Luxury Shop Location: Tehran,Iran Typology: Publiic - Commercial
The design challenge was not that simple, the thing was «to improve» an existing building, ugly and unfinished, without the option of demolition. Regarding the facade, the project aims to create a «dialogue» between the inside and the outside, which could allow the passerby to identify the strong external impact and the innovative interior design. A constant dialogue that has its origin in the windows. These become great protagonists that generate white marble columns developing on the full-height facade. On one hand, the goal of the web was to create an «I see, I see not» effect, typical of Persian culture, and to generate a strong modern image on the other.

A space between business and leisure in a large company, that›s what we thought for the eighth floor of the Kpmg headquarter in Milan. A panoramic space with windows that fill the rooms with light. We made it with dark resin on the walls and a soft one on the floor. The result is original and elegant for an area that has become «central» for the company›s life.

Location: Dallas, Texas USA Typology: Residential Starting with the needs of a wealthy Texas gentleman, we designed a modern single-family villa on the shores of Lake Creek. The interior spaces are a functional tailored suit and are enclosed in a dynamic and contemporary structure that, through free planes and sharp edges, marries the large crystal windows with Austin limestone, typical of the area.
