El presidente de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, realizó una visita a Guatemala y efectuó una reunión con el presidente Alejandro Giammattei, donde se reiteró la cooperación en programas y proyectos entre ambos países, en el marco del Plan de Desarrollo Integral (PDI).

Proyectos

Durante la reunión se abordaron varios temas: uno de ellos fue la promoción de la integración económica y prosperidad regional, que permitirá el intercambio comercial, así como consolidar acciones conjuntas para reducir la migración irregular.

The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, held a meeting with the President, Alejandro Giammattei, reiterating cooperation in programs and projects between the two countries within the framework of the Integral Development Plan (PDI).

Projects

During the meeting, they discussed several issues. One is the promotion of economic integration and regional prosperity. They also highlighted the formation of the “Crossing Point for cargo within the Cruce Fronterizo Ingenieros, “which will allow trade exchange and consolidate joint actions to reduce irregular migration.

This is the fourth meeting between the presidents. It took place within the framework of the first international tour of the Mexican Head of State, which began in Guatemala to express the privileged relationship between neighbors and partners.
