STRONG FOCUS ON R&D AND IT

It was less than 3 years ago that Sofie started to do her master thesis at Verisure, in that time studying engineering mathematics at Lund University. “A friend in R&D at Verisure recommended me to talk to his manager. I was interested in machine learning and programming and did not know that Verisure has such a focus on R&D and IT. But it appeared to be the perfect match!”

“If I look back at the person I was 3 years ago, I already feel like a senior. I was able to create my own position, and now I am even leading a team of people specialized in machine learning! I feel proud to be part of the team that designed the burglary detection algorithm of our GuardVision Indoor camera. The algorithm is protecting many of our customers.”
