some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies while maintaining a charming smalltown feel. A growing population, business-friendly climate, low operating costs and thousands of acres of shovel-ready land are just a few of the reasons these businesses are choosing Coolidge. By virtue of being located between Arizona’s two largest cities, Coolidge benefits from the robust transportation
and utility infrastructure that connects Phoenix and Tucson. Three international airports are within a short drive meaning that all major U.S. cities and many international destinations are a direct flight away. Interstates 8 and 10, along with Union Pacific Railroad, link the region with the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach as well as the remainder of the U.S., allowing for efficient movement of raw and finished goods. And, as one of the only cities in Pinal County to offer local public transit, residents can travel throughout Coolidge on the Cotton Express.
The advantages that Coolidge has to offer have culminated in the announcement that several major employers are setting up shop right here. Nikola Motor Company, a manufacturer of zero emission heavy duty trucks, celebrated a major milestone in 2022 when it began serial production at its state-ofthe-art advanced manufacturing facility in southern Coolidge. This campus will ultimately encompass more than one million square feet and employ thousands at wages above the county average. Most recently, Procter and Gamble announced

MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR
culturally diverse community in Coolidge who make this City a wonderful place to visit and call home.
As Mayor of the City of Coolidge, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our City. We are one of the fastest growing cities in Arizona in the beautiful “Sun Corridor”. Located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, Coolidge is home to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, a site operated by the National Park Service, which attracts thousands of visitors each year. We are also proud of the rich,
Coolidge continues to achieve major milestones over the last few years, especially in our business and home building sector. Our city is home to Nikola Motors manufacturing plant, a facility employing more than 350 in the Inland Port of Arizona (IPAZ). Nikola builds battery powered and hydrogen electric semi-trucks with a bright future ahead. At full buildout, the company anticipates up to 35,000 trucks to be produced yearly and employ nearly 1,800 workers in a nearly 1 Million square foot facility. Due to this expansive growth with Nikola in IPAZ, a number of warehouses and a logistics company are slated for development within this industrial park over the next
year. Coolidge has also received a $15 Million BUILD Grant to improve the roadways near IPAZ in addition to a $9.5 Million Grant to improve the Coolidge Municipal Airport. These grants have helped garner more business to Coolidge including two new businesses located at the airport in the defense and aircraft modernization industries. Upgraded power lines are currently being constructed at the airport to allow a wider variety of companies to lay roots and thrive. Business expansion is an important economic engine to Coolidge and welcomes more companies to our city.
Our homebuilding sector continues to be strong with over 670 new home permits issued in 2021 alone. There are a wide variety of home products to choose from in Coolidge with builders such as
Century Complete, KB Home, Express by DR Horton, Oakwood Homes and Richmond American among the builders. A new 398 unit apartment project is under construction with other developments being planned including duplexes to higher density housing.
Offering quality amenities to our residents has been a priority for us in Coolidge. We pride ourselves on offering 12 parks and recreation facilities showcasing a wide variety of uses for the community to enjoy. Our new Coolidge Aquatics Center opened in May 2021 and has been a popular destination for individuals and families to enjoy a large pool, water slide, splashpad and more. In addition to these great park options, our recreation department offers a wide selection of adult and youth sport leagues and

The Coolidge Chamber of Commerce’s Shop Local initiative has been very successful in helping our small businesses in the city receive the recognition they deserve. Our local retail establishments are plentiful in Coolidge and encourage you

to take the time to explore their offerings.
We are also proud of our local and regional transit system that has been a staple in the community for years and is one of the only communities in Pinal County to offer such service. The Coolidge Municipal Airport is an aviation enthusiasts dream with lots of history dating back to WW II and offers a fly-in for the public which runs October - March. Visitors can get up close and personal to various aircraft while enjoying a breakfast operated by the Lions Club and Coolidge High School Culinary Program. The airport is also unique for
its historic hanger featured in movies, magazines and television. In addition, Complete Parachute Systems conducts skydiver and aerobatic training with personnel coming from all over the globe to train at our airport.
Our business friendly environment in Coolidge sets us apart from many other cities. Our Development Services department can guide you through the permitting and plan review process. The City leadership team is quick to respond to inquiries and have questions answered. We understand the enormous task of
getting a business up and running and want to make sure those who seek to do business with Coolidge receive quick attention and work with you to bring your project forward.
Enjoy your visit to Coolidge and see for yourself the great opportunities that are afforded here. I look forward to meeting with you so be sure to stop in and say hello. I’d be happy to discuss your thoughts and ideas on how we can continue to make Coolidge, Arizona an even better place to live, work, and play.

and local police, as well as bring awareness to many community service resources available to them, while focusing on the theme of crime prevention. A variety of community partners are present each year, including the Coolidge Fire Department, Coolidge Parks & Recreation, Pinal County Attorney’s Office, Pinal Hispanic Council, Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, United States Border Patrol, Arizona Department of Public Safety, American Medical Response “AMR” and many
other regional law enforcement, public service organizations and businesses. The public enjoys complimentary hot dogs, bounce houses for the children, and many other giveaways from the vendors. The night culminates in free raffles for prizes and gifts for children and adults, donated from local businesses. GAIN is a great community event for kids to come and play, people to socialize and get to know their law enforcement partners as well as learn about the many resources available to them in Coolidge and Pinal County.

PINAL COUNTY – WIDE OPEN OPPORTUNITIES
Pinal County is experiencing exponential growth due to its strategic location, pro-business climate, a plentiful amount of affordable land, and a continual stream of new residents, which provides the vital workforce for expanding companies.
The County’s location between both the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas has made it a destination of choice for both residents and businesses alike. Between 2010 and 2020, the County grew by over 13%, and the current estimated population is approaching 450,000.
The County’s location along with outstanding transportation assets, including direct access to Interstates 8 and 10 as well as excellent rail service, make it the perfect location to serve some of the largest economies in the world, including California, Texas and Mexico.
In previous generations, the County’s economic vitality was driven by its natural resources, which included the agriculture and mining industries. However, as Pinal looks to the future its strategic location is driving activity in the manufacturing and logistics industries.
In recent years, the County has seen significant development and announcements in the electric vehicle manufacturing space, including major investments from Lucid Motors, Nikola Motors and future investment from LG Energy Solution. Semiconductor factory projects in the Phoenix metro area have driven a number of announcements from companies in the industry’s supply chain, including CCP, LCY, Air Products, Kanto, Solvay, and Jing He Science. Projects related to the manufacturing of building materials, which are necessary
to support the significant growth in the Southwest and beyond, have also been announced, and include Kohler, Gold Bond (National Gypsum) and Owens Corning, which has reopened a once shuttered factory.
All told, in just over five years, the County has seen the development or announcement of over $7B in private sector investment and nearly 12,000 jobs. In 2022, Pinal was recognized as the leading County in Arizona for both “New Business Growth” and “New Building Permits.”

Coolidge has made tremendous gains over the last few years in landing high quality companies who have taken notice of the City’s unique location between Phoenix and Tucson, streamlined permitting process and access to City leaders who can make quick decisions to move projects forward. We have also made vast improvements within the City infrastructure such as reconstructed roadways, new parks, updated landscaping and other features which help the city become an attractive place not only to do business, but call Coolidge home. Some of these projects include Industrial
COOLIDGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Development, Clean Energy in the way of Utility Scale Solar, Hospitality, Housing, and Family amenities, like Kenilworth Park and new Aquatics Center.
While agriculture remains one of the key industries in Coolidge, it is supported by new industrial manufacturing like Nikola Motors. Several existing industries like Stinger Bridge and Iron, Bright International and more have also aided to create a diversified economic base for our city. We continue to work with the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) to respond to companies looking at potentially locating to our city. This would not be possible without partners like Jackob Andersen’s Saint Holdings and our Chamber of Commerce which includes all its member businesses. Through our Chamber, we work to assist our existing businesses through a variety of programs, like the ‘Business Retention and Expansion’ program, training assistance through ‘Arizona at Work’ which helps companies with job training, and a wide variety of other programs within the state and Pinal County. The Chamber has also been successful in applying and securing grants for marketing and community outreach. They were also instrumental in securing grants to assist our local businesses with funding during COVID, which helped cover some of their loss of revenue.
While City staff works hard
to ensure plans are reviewed and permits are issued quickly, it would not be possible if not for the help of a key partner, Stantec. They are a large architectural and engineering firm that help the City with Plan Review and Building Inspections. Some of the projects being built in our city require specific industrial expertise who are educated and experienced in areas such as utility scale electrical systems, advanced manufacturing systems, and large scale industrial construction.
As new semiconductor manufacturers move into Arizona, supply chain companies like NRS Logistics are working on locating new facilities in Coolidge’s Inland Port Arizona, or IPAZ. This specialized logistics company supplies manufacturers with ultra-pure chemicals they need to produce the semiconductors our high-tech society needs.
Housing is a critical piece of the economic strategy that helps a community thrive. Without an increase in population, new stores and restaurants would not be possible. Coolidge is fortunate that our increased demand for housing has grown our population which allows existing businesses to expand and capture new opportunities. Coolidge citizens now have some new opportunities to live and work in our community if they so choose.
Transportation infrastructure,
mainly surface streets and roads, have been a priority for quite some time. While the City Council allocated as much as they could in past years, it wasn’t until the revenue from new growth in Coolidge and the State of Arizona, made additional funding available to rehabilitate some roads and completely rebuild others. Another critical partner is Pinal County who assists the city in a variety of ways. The county has been an excellent partner in construction services to chip seal roads and administering the $15.3 million BUILD grant that is building critical infrastructure at IPAZ. Roads are an important part to economic development and continued success in a corporation’s decision to locate their business. Reliable infrastructure is crucial to move manufactured goods to market, while also providing safe, quality transportation infrastructure to our citizens.
Combine a business friendly and supportive Mayor and City Council, a result driven Management Team and dedicated City staff means ‘the sky’s the limit’ for continued economic success in Coolidge. We invite you to take a look for yourself and see all the great progress Coolidge is making!

COOLIDGE IS HOME TO THE LARGEST COLLEGE IN PINAL COUNTY AND EXCELLENT SCHOOLS
The City is also home to Pinal County’s largest college, Central Arizona College. This twoyear educational institution prepares both recent high school graduates as well as those who are looking for a career transition. Their highly focused programs not only help those
who wish to further their learning at a four year college but also prepare students for the local economy. Programs like heavy equipment operation, welding and medical assisting allow students to readily find a career in their field.
In addition to traditional programs, CAC is working with various local industries like Lucid Motors to design a state of the art program. The program works specifically with industries to accommodate their needs
In addition to Central Arizona College, the Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology (CAVIT) has a host of high school training programs. Career technology education prepares students to enter the workforce immediately after graduation or to pursue further education at a community college or university. Some of the programs at the CAVIT campus include fire science, law enforcement, medical and nursing.
Excellent education at the elementary to the high school level is also something the community takes seriously. The Coolidge Unified School District
operates several schools in the area. In addition, Imagine Schools, a charter school system has planted roots in Coolidge starting with an elementary school in 2007. With its rapid popularity , Imagine has grown into a full K-12 campus in 2011, adding a preparatory building for middle and high school. This commitment by the area residents in quality education symbolizes Coolidge’s goal of training our future leaders of tomorrow.
CAVIT is planning on adding industrial trade programs within the next two years.

Arecently initiated literacy improvement program in the Casa Grande Elementary School District has been so successful the program will now serve Coolidge and Stanfield school districts. The program, conducted in partnership with the AARP Foundation Experience
ACHIEVE PINAL
Corps, joins volunteer senior tutors with elementary students in one-on-one tutorial sessions.
Program director Myra Garcia is thrilled with the proven results shown to date: “We have seen 68% of Casa Grande elementary students increase their grade level reading skills thanks to this program. Fifty-
two volunteer tutors worked with 106 students over a 7–9-month period to make a significant impact on our literacy statistics. Teachers also report its positive bearing on student attendance, classroom behavior and participation. Nothing is more important to a child’s success in school and in life than strong reading skills! This program is a winner!”
Garcia is now calling for
volunteers ages 50 and over to help with programming for Coolidge and Stanfield students. Volunteers can live anywhere in the state and provide virtual services as long as they have computer and internet connection. She states that “The National Center for Educational Statistics shows only 31 percent of our Arizona fourth-grade students are reading proficiently. We have an award-winning program that can change that. We just need our seniors to help make it happen.”
Volunteers receive complete training and materials and need no prior tutoring experience. Tutoring takes place one-on-one, either in-person or virtually, over a 7–9-month period. In just one hour per week, one dedicated adult can change the course of a young life.

FOUNDING OF COOLIDGE, ARIZONA
In 1919, Richard J. Jones, a businessman in Phoenix, secured 160 acres of land in the area that would become Coolidge. Clement Seagoe and Oliver J. Baughn each purchased 160 acres of land that bordered Jones’ land in 1920. Oliver Baughn was a Superior Court Judge of Pinal County, and he started the San Carlos Organization to apply pressure on Congress to pass the San Carlos Irrigation Act. Judge Baughn also obtained 57 tracts of right of way when the Southern Pacific Railroad began surveying routes from Picacho to the Gila Indian Reservation.
In 1924, the San Carlos Irrigation Act was passed authorizing the building of the Coolidge Dam and the Southern Pacific Railroad
built their new main line through what was destined to become Coolidge. Judge Baughn was rewarded with the Depot being built on his land in 1925.
The Townsite of Coolidge was founded in June of 1925 when R.J. Jones laid out an 80-acre site during the construction of the Coolidge Dam. Clement Seagoe filed subdivision papers shortly after Jones and relinquished some property that includes Coolidge Avenue so the town could become a reality. During the first three years, there was a lot of activity and growth. The first family to live on the Townsite were Mr. & Mrs. W.E. Nutt and their daughter Jesse who came in August of 1925 and were followed by Mr. & Mrs. H.A. Odom. In 1925, the A.C. Ginning Company
office was built followed by the provision of U.S. Postal Services with Mrs. W.E (Frances) Nutt being appointed as the first Postmistress, the dedication of the Presbyterian Community Church, the creation of the first school, the opening of the Shell Oil Company, and the installation of water and lights in 1926.
As the town continued to grow, ten business owners met and organized the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce on January 14, 1928, in the hope of helping industries in the Coolidge area and marketing the area to attract businesses and residents.
Before long, however, the Chamber of Commerce became the driving force in building the infrastructure that Coolidge would need to prosper. During
its first year, the Chamber’s goals included a depot crossing at Central Ave. across from the Southern Pacific Railway, a newspaper, a Junior High School, attracting a first-class hotel, a telephone exchange, airport, and improvements on roads. The group successfully held the Pinal County Fair in 1928 and by the end of the year the group had grown to 20 members.
By 1929, the Chamber of Commerce had organized into various committees to tackle the necessary tasks. These committees included a Playground and Parks Committee, a Celebration and Motorcade Committee, a Cemetery Committee, a Highways and Street Committee, School Committee, Telephone Committee and a New Industries
COOLIDGE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DIRECTORY 26 CITY INFORMATION
and Business Committee. Under the chairmanship of W.F. Love, the Finance Committee secured $425.00 in funding to purchase firefighting equipment and in September of 1929, the first fire company was formed.
The Coolidge Dam was completed in 1930 and dedicated by President Coolidge on March 4, 1930. The dam made the sandy soil native to the area into very rich farmland, and soon vast expanses of desert were plowed and acres of cotton were planted. With the completion of the Phoenix-Tucson Highway through Coolidge and the increase in cotton farming, Coolidge was poised for economic success.
In subsequent years, the types of committees varied depending on the needs of the community. In 1932 there was discussion about incorporating Coolidge, but the
FOUNDING OF COOLIDGE, ARIZONA
citizens petitioned against it as it would raise taxes during the Depression. Action in this area was tabled until a later date. However as new issues arose, the Chamber worked to resolve them. These actions ranged from putting up street signs and placing numbers on businesses and dwellings to attracting necessary businesses like telephone services and banking. The Chamber also helped the Grammar School Board secure WPA funds for the construction of the North School. In 1940, the Chamber began work to get Coolidge designated as a sanitation district so sewer lines could be installed, and in 1940, the Chamber published its first business directory to help advertise local businesses. So many of the things we take for granted today are here
because of the dedication and commitment of the Chamber members.
In 1945, Coolidge residents voted in favor of the incorporation of Coolidge and A.D Tyler was elected as the first Mayor of the newly formed City. The new City administration took over running the city but the Chamber of Commerce continued to work on attracting new businesses, marketing Coolidge nationally to increase tourism and meeting the needs of Coolidge residents. It surprises visitors and new residents to Coolidge that during its heyday, Coolidge boasted 2 movie theaters, a drive in movie theater, an indoor roller skating rink, a thriving downtown shopping area and Cohen’s Popular Department Store which could rival any department store in
a large metropolitan city. The Chamber began hosting an annual “Teacher’s Day” luncheon to acquaint teachers with the local businesses in 1957 and that tradition continues today with the Chamber’s “Welcome Back School Employees” event each year.
Like many towns, Coolidge has seen its share of economic ups and downs but the foundation of Coolidge is built on the vision and commitment of its early business owners and residents. Coming together as the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce enabled these community leaders to work for the common good and help the Townsite of Coolidge to grow into the city it became. The City of Coolidge and the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce continues this tradition today.

The City of Coolidge began operation of the first regional transit service route in Pinal County in 2010. In 2011 the City of Coolidge, Central Arizona College, Pinal County and the Town of Florence formed a partnership that became the Central Arizona Regional Transit (CART) system. CART provides regional route services to neighboring communities for employment, educational, medical and personal trips. CART connects Florence, Coolidge, Central Arizona College (CAC) and Casa

The CART intercity connector has made travel across central Pinal County possible for people that may have no other means of transportation. This route is heavily utilized by students attending CAC and employees commuting from one community to another for work; many riders choose to ride CART to save money spent on fuel and vehicle maintenance.

CITY OF COOLIDGE AIRPORT INFORMATION
The U. S. Department of the Army originally constructed the Coolidge Municipal Airport designed as a single-engine aircraft flight training school in the early 1940’s. The airport was originally named the Coolidge Army Airfield and the facility initially did function (instead of the school) as an air transport command base, serving as an auxiliary operating base for Williams Field (now known as Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport) during World War II.
The airport was declared surplus by the Secretary of War in November 1945 and subsequently transferred to Pinal County by quitclaim deed in January 1950. The site was later transferred to the City of
Coolidge by quitclaim deed in March 1959. From 1962 until 1992 the airport was operated mainly by military leases.
In 1992 the site was converted to civilian use after the military no longer needed to conduct further operations there. Today the airport is operated by the City of Coolidge and is home to multiple aviation related businesses. In May 2019, Coolidge was very fortunate to receive a $9.5 million award from the Federal Aviation Administration. The grant completely restored the airport’s runways 5-23 to likenew condition as well as provide new lighting. The historic wooden military hanger at the Coolidge Municipal Airport still remains and has been seen in several television commercials
and movies. The original three runways were built in a triangle and two remain in use today. The airport covers 1,268 acres and is located 5 miles southeast of Coolidge.
Businesses have taken notice of the airport’s newly reconstructed runways and its proximity to nearby Phoenix and Tucson metro areas. Several new businesses have moved into the airport since 2020, making use of the large land areas for their growing entity. The City has planned upgrades to the existing power lines into the airport to support future business and expand the facility further.
Each year from October until April, the airport hosts a fly-in on the first Saturday of the month, with a buffet style pancake
breakfast served by the Coolidge Lions Club. Pilots from all over the country fly in to show off their planes, with a wide array of aircrafts from vintage and unique flyers to modern day jets and sometimes, experimental flying exhibits on display! It is a huge crowd pleaser and money raised from this event helps various programs in Coolidge including the youth and elderly. Come out and see for yourself and have breakfast with us!

Since our beginning ‘community’ has been in our name and has been the focus of our ministry and everyday life. Because we serve the whole community, as we serve God, we intentionally look beyond the needs of those who already know Christ. Because we see people as precious to Christ, we seek to help where the needs exist, especially when that help can flow from a reservoir of faith.
The Community Christian Church serves as a ministry/ counsel to those in need; those who have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ while at the same time reaching out into the community.
We proudly serve the community as members of the local Chamber of Commerce, also serving as Chaplain of the Florence Hospital providing pastoral care to patients, their families, as well as, hospital staff members throughout the hospital.

THE PINAL GEOLOGY AND MINERAL MUSEUM
COME ROAR WITH A DINOSAUR!
See fantastic crystals from around the world! Learn about the 1.7-billion-year geologic history of Pinal County! Find your own fossils or minerals! You can experience all these wonders of the earth right here in Coolidge.
The Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum showcases the geology of Pinal County and the wider world.
Opened in 2016, the museum is operated by the Pinal Geology and Mineral Society (PGMS). Exhibits feature minerals from Arizona and around the world, fossils of plants and animals, from sponges to dinosaurs, and other geologic materials with a special emphasis on local specimens.
The exhibits are regularly updated and changed, so repeat visits are always fruitful. There is fun for the whole family, with our young Jurassic dinosaurs, Allosaurus and Dilophosaurus, ready to greet visitors young and old. There is a fossil dig for kids inside the museum, and just outside sits Cullen’s Mineral Dig. Both digs feature real fossils or minerals kids can take home.
The small gift shop offers minerals, fossils, and geology related crafts at modest prices. All proceeds go to the museum which is run on a mostly volunteer basis.
Education is the main mission, and educators are always welcome at the museum. Field trips, and resources to use
in the classroom are offered without cost to teachers of all grades. Many of those resources are described or linked to on the museum’s ever-expanding website.
The online museum includes videos, slide shows, articles, coloring sheets, puzzles, and more.
From September through May, the PGMS hosts regular meetings with programs at the museum. Check the website for upcoming dates.
Need something to do?
Volunteers are always welcome at the museum. Become a docent, join the education team, work on exhibits and the collection, or work on special projects. Some things can even be done from home.
HOURS: September-May
Wednesday-Saturday 11 am - 4 pm
SUMMER HOURS: June-August Fridays 10 am - 3 pm (subject to change)

showcases were procured and conveniently placed throughout the Museum. The collection includes assorted World War II model planes, books, and paintings, military clothing along with mannequins dressed in military attire. Items are constantly arriving and receipts are given to document condition, value, and selected as to how they were used in the military. The Museum does not purchase items for use in the Museum. We like to say, the DAV does not own the Museum, it is owned by the veterans. The DAV volunteers strictly maintain it for tours by veterans, soldiers, their families and the public to show support for their military service.

these early farmers engineered systems to use water from mountain run-offs and rivers to irrigate their fields.
The ancestral Sonoran Desert people discovered that, as their villages grew, farmland adjacent to the rivers was becoming scarce. To bring water to land farther away from the rivers, they began to dig canals around 1500 B.C.E., a technique they continued to use for generations. Archeologists have discovered hundreds of miles of prehistoric irrigation canals in the Gila River valley, as well as the Salt River Valley of Phoenix, the Santa Cruz River Valley in Tucson, and on the American Indian reservations of Southern Arizona.
of widespread depopulation and change. Speculations as to the cause have included drought, floods, disease, invasion, earthquakes, internal strife, and salinization of farmland. Today, several American Indian groups have ancestral links to the ancestral people. Their cultural traditions, together with on-going archeology and the continued interest of visitors at Casa Grande Ruins, all combine to keep the legacy of the ancestral Sonoran Desert people alive to this day.
CASA GRANDE RUINS
A treasured national monument, the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument features ruins of the Hohokam people who settled and farmed the Arizona region in the 13th century.
Casa Grande Ruins National Monument protects the multistory Great House and the ruins of other ancient structures built by the people of the Sonoran Desert over 800 years ago. These ancestral Sonoran Desert people
may have descended from an earlier hunting and gathering “Archaic” culture that began in this area around 5,500 B.C.E. Over time, as the area grew hotter and drier, wild plants and animals became less abundant.
Domesticated corn from Mesoamerica was introduced and appears to have influenced a gradual transition from hunting and gathering to a more settled farming existence. Adapting to the dry conditions of the desert,
The building of the Casa Grande was a major event of the Classic Period (1100 – 1450 C.E.). The best dating methods available indicate that this large, caliche structure was built during the 1300’s. The construction appears to have been well planned and organized, requiring tons of material and a huge cooperative effort on the part of many people. Today we can only marvel at the Casa Grande and try to imagine what it was used for. Though many theories have been suggested, we still aren’t sure as to its purpose. All we can assume is that the Casa Grande must have been very important to the people who built it. During the late 1300’s and early 1400’s, the ancestral Sonoran Desert people suffered a period
