3 large cereal boxes.

Step-by-step instructions 1. Cut the top flaps off an empty cereal box. Use pencil and ruler to draw a line from the middle of the box’s top to one side at a 45-degree angle, straight across the side, and up the back at the same angle. Cut on this line.
2. Stick together 3 boxes cut with way with the help of the glue. Let them dry.

3. Take a wrapping paper and start gluing it all around the boxes, so that box inner and outer sides of the holder are covered with the paper.
4. The last step is to cut off the long strip of paper and to wrap the bottom of the holder all over. If it is possible to find an appropriate box for the holder to fit in, it makes sense to use the box instead of the strip.

Almost any other decorating technique can be used on these boxes. You might cover boxes in fabric that matches your decoration or paint something across them, e.g. it can be an ocean theme. It can also be gluing pictures cut from old magazines to the box or decoupage. You can stick different stickers, glue beads, put stamps, whatever. The choices are endless.
