Celebrating district retirees!

On May 24, we celebrated and honored our retirees!

During the celebration, retirees and their guests were welcomed with gifts from Employee Benefits and shared a meal while enjoying music and parting words from Superintendent Dr. Hernandez Board President Don Clark. School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) seeking new members

The Corpus Christi ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is seeking four new community/parent members for the August 2023 - July 2025 term. This is a 2-year term commitment. Application information can be found on the district’s website. The application for the 2023-2025 term closes May 31.

During the May 22 Board of Trustees Meeting, the board recognized several employees for recent accomplishments.

• Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools

Dr. Scott Elliff Scholarship recipient

Congratulations to Alberto Alonso!

He was selected as the Dr. Scott Elliff Scholarhsip recipient. The scholarship was established to support CCISD staff attending classes to earn a college degree to become an educator or to obtain a teaching certification.
