Paul John Kilshaw: Entr’-Acte Variations

Paul John Kilshaw is renowned on the Jersey art scene and has done over forty solo exhibitions, locally and internationally.

This year, as Paul is turning 75, he has painted and drawn for 62 years. He gained his degree in 1968 at the Manchester College of Art where he found his love for abstract expressionism. This exhibition will focus on a series of large-scale oil paintings created during the pandemic. The symbolism of these abstract works was influenced by his experiences and emotions surrounding Covid-19. They record Paul’s inner thoughts about the spread of the virus and the isolation of lockdown.
