Cashless Events & Tickets

To streamline the game-day experience, all Lancaster ISD athletic events are going completely cashless. All Lancaster ISD high school game tickets are now exclusively available online at www lancasterisd org/tickets, and all concession stand items may be purchased with a debit/credit card Please make a note of our district’s transition to a cashless system at all sporting events in Lancaster ISD

Clear Bag Policy

As a friendly reminder, the Lancaster ISD clear bag policy is strictly enforced at all Lancaster ISD athletic events, and no backpacks are allowed inside the stadium Guests will not be allowed to go in and out of the athletic facilities, and no outside food or drinks are allowed in the stadium/ fields, or gyms.

Student Game Attendance

Please note that as a safety and security preventative measure, Lancaster ISD students in grades K-9 are required to attend the game with a parent and wear their campus ID badge for game entry. We thank you in advance for your partnership in ensuring the safety and security of all students

District 3 Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026

Lancaster ISD District 3 School Board Trustee Johnnaé Cortez will host a District 3 Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Houston Elementary. Community members are invited to attend and hear updates, ask questions, and learn more about current initiatives and future plans for Lancaster ISD. Light refreshments will be served, and a virtual attendance option will be available via Zoom.

DOES YOUR PROPERTY MEET CODE STANDARDS?

The City of Lancaster Code Compliance Division is responsible for handling Code of Ordinances city violations. To File a Code complaint call 972-218-1200 or submit a complaint online at www lancaster-tx com and click report a concern.

Yard Maintenance: Residents must keep their yards maintained to avoid code violations Grass and weeds must be under 12 inches, and any exceeding 48 inches will be removed by the City without notice. If notified of a violation for grass under 48 inches, you have 10 days to comply. Additionally, trees and shrubs must be trimmed at least 14 feet above streets and 7 feet above sidewalks to ensure safe passage Failure to comply may result in City action at the owner’s expense.

Parking on Unapproved Surfaces: Parking in residential areas must be on an approved surface like concrete or asphalt. In some subdivisions, gravel may be allowed if it has been historically used and approved by the City of Lancaster Code Official. Keep your property compliant and your neighborhood looking great!

Bulk Brush: Brush and bulk collection is provided six times a year for residential properties. Place brush between the curb and sidewalk A maximum of 12 cubic yards is allowed. Pickup occurs during evennumbered months, following your weekly collection calendar. Exceeding the limit is the property owner's responsibility to remove.

WHEN A PERMIT IS REQUIRED.

Planning a home project? Many improvements require a permit to ensure safety and compliance. Here are some common projects that need one:

✔ Construction & Additions –

Building new structures like sheds, gazebos, patio covers, or carports

✔ Repairs & Replacements –

Foundation repairs, remodeling that changes walls or windows, or replacing brick

✔ Plumbing & HVAC – Installing or replacing water heaters, furnaces, air conditioning systems, or sewer lines

✔ Outdoor Projects – Pools, irrigation systems, driveways, decks, and walkways

✔ Demolition & Exterior Changes

– Removing buildings, adding security bars, or any modifications in the Historic District (requires approval)

✔ Garage Sales – Limited to one sale every six months
