Extended Lab and Studio Space

UWC is currently repurposing a building in the Bellville business area as a Digital Innovation Lab, to host a modern state of the art studio space that will also house a high tech virtual showroom space. The showroom will be open to the public and representatives of various industries will be encouraged to partner with staff and students in the studio to design and produce innovative solutions.

The Postgraduate Diploma in e-skills Development has an AR/VR lab space, where students are equipped to help ensure that the country will be able to effectively compete in the global information/knowledge economy. Also, to enable both IT practitioners and IT users to get the appropriate upskilling and re-skilling required for their workplace
