I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone attending the book launch of Elite Chinese Canadians published by Sept Days.
Not only serving as an excellent news resource, Sept Days also encourages readers to preserve their own cultural identities and integrate into the larger community. In an effort to illustrate Chinese immigrants’ contributions to the society, Elite Chinese Canadians leverages success stories of newcomers in depicting the Chinese migration history in pursuit of a better life in Canada. I would like to commend all those involved in the publication of Elite Chinese Canadians for providing an invaluable opportunity to minority and immigrant groups to go beyond the stories presented in mainstream media, and add their own voices and experiences.
I am certain that readers will be captivated by the powerful narrative and welcome the opportunity to learn more about the diverse culture and traditions of our great country.
