2020-2021 Nitro
The Acer Nitro 5 is a seriously cool gaming laptop for casual to hardcore gamers that is popular product in the market. With exquisite color and solid shade, the design feature with calm appearance. The deco and thermal outlet feature as car exhaust pipe which give user sense of speed.
Process & Manufacture
The A cover use IMR film to make the surface more profound, the light shadow reflect through the change of the face. The whole product is make by plastic, the texture on the surface and painting red and shale black is the bright spot.
2022 Nitro
With five segment hinge, collaborating with Acer ID to create geometry design. Delicate line connect the surface and light shadow emerge gorgeous appearance.
Process & Feature
The polyline pattern IMR film demonstrate sense of speed and gaming style. Triangle deco along two side respond the major design landuage of the Nitro 5. User could use NitroSense application to control Backlit keyboard and CPU/GPU efficacy.
Design narrative
This appearance is pure black sku and symmetry thermal outlet. It’s designed to improve their gameplay across the board through an immersive experience and unique features.

The solid, understated design houses a lightning-quick narrow-border display and a lineup of impressive technologies to enhance every aspect of gameplay. It’s powerful enough to play current games at medium to high detail settings.

Efficiency & Performance
User can rotate the airstand through rear side rubberfoot of laptop that can be operate easily. During the uplift space, the thermal efficiency is elevate which provide user great performace when ther’re working and playing PC game.
Dimension & Structure
Original rubber foot height is 4mm. Kick stand height is 8mm at 0˚ considering of rotating structure & interference w/ D cover. Kick stand height is 18mm at 180˚ for more air flow to increase thermal performance.

Mechanics & Possibility
In the second stage of design, we collabrate with mechanical team to study the sturcutre and intensity. The main purpose is to identify the maximum load that the stopper of rotational stand can afford.

Metal cutting and forming body, the appearance is also simple and fashionable. The narrow frame design not only makes the body more compact but also give user refinement
Military Standard PC
ENDURO series has passed the U.S. military standard MIL-81G planning, and anti-collision screen display standard. The IO ports are also equipped with protective covers to ensure that liquids and dust penetrate the body. Among them, Enduro series have IP68 and IP53 water and dust resistance respectively, and the keyboard also provides a drainage hole design. The bodyalso also has an Aquafan design that prevents water from splashing into it.

The design narrative is education machine, when student and children use their own PC, hygiene issue ,protection and maintenance situation should be taken seriously. With UV sterilize and TPU rubber protection of the surface that can fit user requiremen properly.
10 mins disinfection
Disinfections in minutes
When closing the laptop, the UV Led will operate automatically through the cavity area in the middle hinge. The process including 10 minutes disinfection and colud eliminate Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and other coronavirus...etc.
Sliding I.O Stand
We try to combining the support accessories with the laptop that could be used light enough and storage simply. The support accessories are combined with the laptop to minimize it, making it more convenient for users to carry, so that it can be applied to the notebook in the market.
Narrative
Mobile-phobe or electronice device do not have a good viewing angle and placement without supporting accessories.
Application Integration
A sensor is installed on the sliding I.O Stand, which is triggered by sliding the I.O Stand. Sensor send a signal through WiFi or Bluetooth for detection, one of the two support arms can be provided with NFC, the computer is automatically paired with the third-party device, through this continuous action. It saves the time to operate the pairing process between multiple smart devices, and improves the interoperability of software operations among multiple smart devices.

During the design thinking and project evolution, we try to optimise the I.O stand into more useful and expediency concept. With sketch and computer graphics to explore ideas.
