Molly Ping LEE I am a designer of Taiwanese background, who loves to experience new cultures. In the past, I sincerely devoted my skills and learnings to design creative, asesthetically rich products intended towards well being. The product design ranged from home care to electronic devices. As boundaries between physical and digital are becoming blurred, I can seamlessly work across both these disciplines. Apart from hands-on design skills, I am also interested in observing human behavior as it composes many stories that help in deep design thinking and developing better solutions.

Elbow walking assistant has been designed to easily adjust to any length by simply sliding the component. It will become the shortest crutch in the world. The wide range of users can adjust it to many different lengths, which makes it very convenient.

PROBLEM Geriatric and disabled population is increasing gradually. To build a convenient life and provide the right needs has come to immediate attention of the public. Users usually feel ashamed because of using these types of helping aids in public. The existing crutches are usually much larger size and weight, also they are no easy to carry in various situations like in restaurants, parks or mostly public transportation.

Af ter countless testing, the crutches was finally being manufactured in Mainland China and was going to be launched in Japanese market. I stayed in the factor y to make sure that ever y detail of the crutches all reached the standard or any problem needs to be solved immediately during the manufacturing process.

With aesthetic, elegant tool is a plus to visualization. “While m a k i n g p o u r- o v e r c of f e e , p o u r in a steady circular motion is similar to when turntable playing a song.”

A pour-over is precise, ever ything is on a spectrum-there are variables, controlling the ratio of water to coffee, and the rate of temperature, pour speed, and time, which results in the best possible cup of coffee.

FEATURES Hand-crafting a great cup of pour-over coffee is not an easy task.

MASTER creates a fuss-free cup of pour-over coffee that personalized the tastes and always consistent.

Built-in water carafe The heater beneath provides stable energy that ensures the temperature remains the same.

The water tank is removable for easy cleaning. Simply open the lid on top of the carafe when refilling the water.

Compatible to all size of chamber The size and shape of the chamber often varied, the rotating base is designed to fit any kind of chamber.

Spinning arm & Rotate base The spinning arm along with the base rotates during the brewing process to simulate the ideal hand-pouring technique just like a barista pouring water over in a rotating motion.

Elves of Light

The lamp combines "Luminous textile." Its transparent surface reflects lines inside keeping the nature of the material. When turning off, the glowing lines leap out as mysterious elves in Norse mythology.

RESEARCH The light from the LUMI LONG luminous textile can steadily emit 6 hours of light by absorbing surrounding light for 10 minutes without any extra electricity or heat. Any kind of poison or radiation were not detected. This new glow in the dark cloth can be washed and provide energy saving during the night.

Steady Portable Bedrail

Comform to ISO 11334-1:2007 For the elderly, the bedrail stays in place once they are lying down to keep them from rolling down off the bed in their sleep as well as its use as a support bar when getting in and out of the bed. The steady bedrail is the only bedrail in the world with extra support and can be installed to bed with or without any frames.

PROBLEM The aging population is dramatically growing all over the world. Most of the elderly, who are weak , need more assistance, such as getting in and out of bed. Even though there are many kinds of bedrails in the market, many of them can be still improved.

RESEARCH In the spectrum of care including hospital long term care and home caresettings, various types of bedrail may be used depending on a patient’s medical and functional needs.

Due to having experience in developing Half-Length Rail and consideration of structural and cost. This project still focusing on Half-Length Rail which suits for home environment. Our goal is both to improve our previous product and competitive product, providing a stability and security to the elders.

Full-Length Rail: Usually used on hospital bed to prevent from falling.

Half-Length Rail: Both prevent falling and support transferring in bed.

Transfer Bar: Only support to get in and out of bed.
