RX-ABLE PRESCRIPTION FRAMES
Frame can be used for prescription lens fitting.
Choosing a lens colour is not just about personal preference, different lens colours offer unique benefits based on the time of day, weather and other environmental factors. Regardless of colour, all lenses in the Ugly Fish range provide maximum UV protection (that’s Category 3) to keep your peepers protected from those harmful UV rays.
SMOKE
The most common and popular colour choice, smoke lenses (also known as grey) are best in very bright conditions as they cut contrast and reduce glare helping you see better. Smoke lenses are great for saltwater fishing, boating and chillaxing at the beach. Even better, choosing a smoke lens with an anti-reflective coating will further reduce squinting by filtering reflective glare off surfaces like the ocean and boat.
BROWN
Brown lenses (or copper lenses) reduce unwanted glare and significantly increase contrast so you can see things brighter. Brown lenses are perfect for freshwater fishing, so you can better see your catch in murky conditions. A great lens colour for overcast, dusk and dawn conditions.
RED OR ORANGE REVO
Apart from looking super cool, this technically advanced mirror treatment maximises the polarisation effect by eliminating even more glare.
A red or orange mirror coating is usually applied to a smoke or rose-coloured lens so for the activities best suited to a red revo lens refer to either smoke or rose.
BLUE OR GREEN REVO
Apart from looking super cool, this technically advanced mirror treatment maximises the polarisation effect by eliminating even more glare.
A blue or green mirror coating is usually applied to a smokecoloured lens and is great for saltwater fishing, boating and chillaxing at the beach.

> Hydrophobic - Provides saltwater resistance for up to 72 hours. It also acts as a dust, water and oil repellent, making it much easier to clean dust, finger marks and smudges off the lens.

WARRANTY
Ugly Fish sunglasses are protected by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
UGLY FOR LIFE
We said they were tough but with a little extra care you can increase the lifespan of your sunnies.
CLEANING
1. Regularly wash your sunnies under cold running water with a bit of hand soap to remove dirt, grime, sunscreen and any other harsh substances or chemicals that may cause wear and tear.
2. Air-dry your sunnies away from direct sun light.
3. Once dry, use the inside of the Ugly Fish microfibre soft pouch, or an optical cleaning cloth, to further clean the lenses and frame.
DO’S & DON’TS
DON’T use optical lens cleaning sprays or solutions to clean your sunglasses. Using these will damage your lens coatings.
DO regularly clean your sunnies.
DON’T wipe dirty glasses. Salt crystals, sand or other tiny particles will be scratched into the lenses.
DON’T use a paper towel or a t-shirt as a cleaning or drying agent. This may scratch the lenses or potentially add more dirt to the sunglasses.
DON’T store sunglasses in direct sunlight, on the car dashboard or anywhere with extreme heat.
DO enjoy gettin’ out and about and being active in your favourite pair of Ugly’s.
DON’T lose your Ugly’s, you’ll be really annoyed with yourself.

WHY POLARISED?
Polarised lenses eliminate harmful UV rays to prevent squinting and increase wearer comfort. Polarised lenses also enhance colours and visual clarity.
Polarised lenses are perfect for the rider who rides throughout the day in bright sunny conditions to prevent squinting and to ensure you can clearly see the road ahead. Polarised lenses work best when worn with an open face helmet, or with your visor up, as some helmet visor tints may cause a reaction to the polarised lens resulting in distorted vision.

WHY NON-POLARISED?
The Ugly Fish range features non-polarised lenses in both a sunglass and a goggle as each suits different riding conditions.
SUNGLASSES.
Sunglasses are best suited to the rider who wears a closed face helmet as typically the helmet visor is already polarised and may distort your vision if you’re also wearing polarised sunglasses. All Ugly Fish sunglasses feature maximum UV protection of Category 3.
GOGGLES.
Goggles are available in a smoke or clear lens. Goggles are best suited to the rider who wears an open face helmet as the foam insert protects eyes from wind, dust and flying objects. The foam insert can also be removed to be worn under closed face helmets or as regular sunglasses for everyday wear. Each lens colour is suited to different riding conditions.
> Smoke - Great for riding during the day as it provides maximum UV protection of Category 3. A blue or red mirror lens is also available in some models which also provides maximum UV protection.
> Clear - Best suited for overcast conditions or nighttime riding.
> Yellow Photochromic - The ideal choice for riders who predominately ride at night, as yellow lenses offer increased contrast to enhance vision and cut unwanted glare from artificial street lights.
FULL FACE OR OPEN FACE?
Replace the arms with a strap. Some models include a clip-on strap to wear as a goggle for a firmer fit.
Many models include a foam gasket to protect eyes from wind, dust and other flying objects, providing a firmer grip and overall comfort.
Frame designed to slide easily inside the helmet and avoid damage to the lining.
The temples of most models (particularly those recommended for full face use) have short arms for better fit and comfort to eliminate headaches.

PHOTOCHROMIC RIDERZ HAVE GOT YOU COVERED.
Photochromic lenses automatically adapt (or transition) to changes in light conditions. The lens will darken when exposed to ultraviolet light and lighten in low light. Smoke photochromic lenses will change from clear to smoke whilst yellow photochromic lenses will change from a light yellow/clear to a smoke brown.
