Then, its off to the Sponge Docks with approximately 15 restaurants and more than 50 shops to explore. The Sponge Docks offer something of interest for everyone. Visit the 120,000 gallon salt water aquarium, tour the sponge museum, or even order fresh seafood to take home. Lunch will be at your choice of any one of the 15 restaurants. (Dutch treat). Next, visit Howard Park, which has recently been renovated and offers a great beach line for swimming and sun bathing, separate fishing areas, wonderful shaded walking paths, and picnic areas. In addition, the leisurely ride is smooth, safe, and great for taking pictures. After the park tour, a “Dutch Treat” lunch is planned at Susy Q’s II located in Myakka. Following lunch, the next stop is at Hunsader Farms -- a large produce and feed mercantile.
