「新點子實驗場」作為兩廳院孵育創

關於《催化效應—融．共感》

《催化效應—融．共感》為擅於翻轉傳

作者的展演平臺，專注於培育「原生種」。

演出概念源自於「三個人3PEOPLEMUSIC」

2022「新點子實驗場」以「好野」代表

赴法國與當地弦樂演奏家交流經驗，而此次

核心出發，深入創作研發方法，期待透過明

破傳統的聲響體驗與共作模式，串結不同文

純粹的靈魂與冒險態度，跟著創作者從創作

確的研究目標，一起挑戰演出新形式，喚醒 心中最初、最野性的熱情。

今年節目共四檔，包括第二屆「新點子

實驗場 R&D」的三組入選作品：結合線上互

動與參與式演出兩種形式，黃鼎云邀請觀眾

更邀請到四位臺灣傑出的弦樂演奏家，以突 化背景的音樂語彙，並加入舞蹈與影像融合， 使整場音樂演奏如同產生催化作用般，將各

想像力奔馳在大腦裡；當舞蹈時，我做出了

呂佾庭《瓶中花》

三感官各自精緻的藝術，都是透過腦中的「意

奏所創作的作品。瓶中花的作法被視為一種

下，分心邊聽邊看邊動，同時「共感」著，

及水份，並加以加工後，置於容器中，以此

違背平時有邏輯的日常肢體。「眼、耳、身」 識」解讀得到感官的刺激。在「融」的前提 放開任一種注意力，只注意當下意識給出的

答案；又或是充分發揮專注力，同時解析著 聲音的構成、眼睛看到的假象、用毛孔感受 舞者肢體的張力，打開所有感官的注意力， 「全官」式的感受這所有。

「我需要一個指令」—作曲家的發想成

為了唯一中心主旨。文本的引導、音樂家的

聲音詮釋，成了觸媒，既成為視覺與舞蹈的 呈現，也成為了閱聽者的感受。當我們從線 性的—構思、譜寫、演奏（音樂）、聆聽、 配合音樂（舞蹈、影像）、最終呈現。演變

為多線性—構思、譜寫（音樂、影像、舞蹈）、

聆聽（舞蹈）、配合（音樂、影像、舞蹈）、 最終呈現。將會催化呈現怎樣的一個樣貌？

論述音樂的方式，早已不只一種，我們

所習慣音樂的閱聽，也只是眾多方式之一。 這次的呈現就如同一種「換句話說」，也就 是從不同角度方法詮釋同一件事，更是我想

《瓶中花》是為笛、阮、箏與弦樂四重

延續生命之美的象徵：藉由排除鮮花的光線

試圖保存花草美態。然而，被迫永恆化的同 時，反而壓抑其原始凋零枯褪的本質，於是 形成一種不自然的現象。本曲試圖在音樂上

以音色的組合、多聲部與節奏的交織、時間 因相似或重複的片段在聽覺上呈現出感知變

化，經由這些抽象手法詮釋此意涵。而七位 演奏家及與其樂器中的連結則具體強調上述

押花過程，以不同樂器的技法加諸於其他樂

器之上，在看似合理的表象中，實則或多或 少壓制樂器本身的共鳴。不過，本曲並非以 批判的角度切入，而是客觀地展現此型態，

進而探討如何運用不同思維，調整樂音，以 達成聲響上的平衡。此創作試圖從作曲家視 角出發，將對當今社會騷動的感受具象成一 種樂器的形狀和演奏者的對應物。透過特殊 演奏技法和改變樂器的演奏方式，以瓶中花 為隱喻，作為對世界認知的關注和總結。

林煒傑《众．㠭》

《众．㠭》是為笛、阮、箏與弦樂四

重奏所創作的作品。弦樂四重奏擁有非常悠

體。「催化」成為了本曲中無法具體展現於 表面，卻主導著成就整曲的中心思想。

黃苓瑄《催化》

創立於 2013 年，由三位青年音樂家郭

集結而成，為臺灣少見以古典為底蘊，構築 選傳統藝術中心「大師門徒與夥伴計畫」， 臺灣與國際接軌的創新人才培育計畫之一。 同年發行首張專輯並入圍第 28 屆傳藝金曲

獎，現已走訪中國、日本、韓國、新加坡、

印度、德國、法國等國家，分享來自臺灣的 新聲音。

歷年來自製多場節目，包含 2015《三

古箏｜郭靖沐

三個人《催化效應—融．共感》

臺灣宜蘭人，箏樂家／創作，「三個人

3PEOPLEMUSIC」的創辦人之一兼團長、台

北中央 C 室內樂團（C-Camerata）團員、國 立臺灣藝術大學中國音樂學系兼任教師。

自幼便摘下多項箏比賽桂冠的他，近年

致力於當代音樂演奏，探索自身、箏樂與這 個 時 代 的 關 係。 於 2017 至 2019 年 間， 策

中華國樂學會等政府、民間、教學單位委託

創作，並曾與指揮郭聯昌、廖曉玲、王正平、 郭哲誠、葉和中、黃光佑、陳志昇、邱君強、 陳秋盛等合作作品發表。其創作作品亦被撰

寫論文如：笛協奏曲《年年》、二胡協奏曲

《島祭》、音樂劇場《巴別之塔—奪回勇者 之心》、揚琴鋼琴二重奏《天黑了》。

劃三場以新音樂為主題的「箏新視野」。在

阮｜潘宜彤

2020 年分別出版了跨界專輯《自然》，以及

3PEOPLEMUSIC」音樂監製。自幼便摘下多

視野」當代箏樂作品集。其作品《Fern》於

創作。長年專注於中阮協奏作品：2014 年

精進新音樂以及傳統音樂以外，2015 年與

笛簫｜任重

臺灣臺北人，笛演奏家／作曲家／鋼琴

合作，現為國立臺灣藝術大學跨域表藝所博

士生。就學期間主修笛、鋼琴，亦修習理論 作曲、指揮。

自幼起即為臺灣各主要音樂比賽之常勝

軍，曾參加臺灣音樂比賽兒童組、少年組、 高中組、大專組、中華國樂學會笛成人組、

黃鐘獎等皆榮獲特優第一名。目前為「三個

臺 灣 基 隆 人， 阮 演 奏 家，「 三 個 人

項阮比賽桂冠的她，致力於阮演奏、教學與 與臺灣愛樂民族管絃樂團協奏劉星《雲南回 憶》、2015 年與新竹經典青年國樂團協奏隋

利軍《假面篝火之舞》、2021 年與臺北柳琴

室內樂團協奏蘇文慶《綻放》，同年與臺北 市立國樂團附設學院國樂團協奏劉星《第二

中阮協奏曲》。個人作品《紅氍毹》和《午 夜夢迴》更收錄於臺北市立國樂團 2019 年 出版的琵琶與阮咸作品精選中。

即將在 2023 年推出個人新製作《咸彈

畢業於國立臺北藝術大學、倫敦皇家音

樂團、淂音樂集團員。

小提琴｜曾敏青

團大提琴手。擅長艱難的現代音樂作品演

琵琶第音樂院小提琴碩士，任教於新北市厚

（Aspekte Ensemble）工作八年，維也納 IIX

畢業於國立臺北藝術大學音樂系、美國

德國小、桃園縣東興國中、文化國小、志清

國小、林口康橋國際學校，現為臺北市立交 響樂團、長榮交響樂團小提琴協演人員。師 事 Victor Danchenko、Grigory Kalinovsky、

蘇正途老師、盧佳君老師和黃瀚民老師。返 臺後不僅熱衷於各類型表演，同時也致力於

教學。除獨奏的舞臺，在室內樂與樂團的演 出經驗也相當豐富，並隨臺北市立交響樂團 至美國巡迴演出。

中提琴｜江婉婷

德國柏林藝術大學中提琴碩士與中提琴

最高演奏家文憑，曾師事柏林愛樂中提琴團

奏及新作首演，於奧地利新音樂室內樂團 Jahrhundert Ensemble 三年，每年 6 月 16 日 固定受邀奧地利 Bloomsday 音樂節首演六首

世界新作，同時現任 Gunnar Berg Ensemble

大提琴手，獲諸多國際樂壇上的肯定。專輯 錄音經驗豐富，例如：2016 年與希臘作曲家

Marios Joannou Elia 於奧地利國家廣播電臺 ORF 製作的《Staubzucker》專輯獲得美國

加州「Global Music Awards」2016 WINNER 獎。

蘭登堡城堡音樂協會推動支持下，於歐陸多

Transient Canvas 二重奏的委託創作、法國

驗豐富，曾考取德國布蘭登堡交響樂團、柏

Giallo 四重奏等。現於美國西北大學以全額

獎學金攻讀博士學位，並教授音樂理論、視 唱聽寫、音樂作曲創作等大學課程。

舞蹈藝術家｜小得

獨立舞者、編舞者、藝術行政。

2005 年起參與表演藝術：玉舞蹈劇場、

藝術大學取得作曲碩士文憑、德國卡爾斯魯

爵代舞蹈劇場、三十舞蹈劇場、流浪舞蹈劇

皇家音樂院專攻電子音樂學程。師從 Dr. h.c.

舞影工作室、同黨劇團、愛樂劇工廠、十鼓

厄音樂院作曲最高文憑，此後負笈荷蘭海牙

Wolfgang Rihm、Walter Zimmermann、Anton Safronov、錢善華等教授。獲獎包括 2018 年 德國音樂大賽（Deutscher Musikwettbewerb） 作曲首獎、15. Carl von Ossietzky 作曲比賽特

場、世紀當代舞團、組合語言舞團、INTW

擊樂團、國家交響樂團、趨勢教育基金會、

《iShade》曾獲第 11 屆保加利亞黑盒子藝 夢》獲邀臺灣外亞維儂藝術節。試圖以更開 人生！

藝術行政工作觸角擴及舞蹈、現代戲

劇、傳統戲曲、馬戲、藝術節……等，跨足 不同領域擔任製作經理及行政統籌。

舞臺設計｜謝均安

國立臺北藝術大學舞臺設計碩士。2009

畢業於國立臺北藝術大學劇場設計系碩

夜放電所》一員。入圍 2022 WSD 世界劇場

為現代舞蹈、戲劇、沉浸式演出。並積極參 與跨領域及燈光技術等相關工作。近期參與

燈光設計演出：影集式音樂劇《鬼歸代言人

EP7》、二律悖反協作體《脈》、《婚姻場景》； 台北打擊樂團創團 35 週年線上音樂會《留 戀之聲》等演出。

年作品曾獲選至 PQ 世界劇場展參展，2017

服裝設計｜林玉媛

Design 世界舞臺設計競賽。近年舞臺設計

主修服裝設計。現為劇場工作者，任職於抹

Prologue As a platform for incubating creators in performing arts, the NTCH IDEAS Lab focuses on cultivating the “indigenous species.” In 2019, we launched the first twoyear project of the NTCH IDEAS Lab - R&D, in the hope to become a strong backing for creators with a continuously systematized R&D mechanism through openly soliciting program proposals, mentor instructing, and preliminary presentation to final production. This allows creators to freely and experimentally debate and revise their works to expand the dimensions of thinking.

W i t h t h e t h e m e o f “ H o Ye a h ” t o represent a pure soul and adventurous attitude, the 2022 NTCH IDEAS Lab follows the creators from the creative core to the depth of R&D in creation, aiming to challenge new forms of performance and awake the original and wildest passion for arts by setting a clear objective for research.

The 2022 NTCH IDEAS Lab features four programs, including three works nominated for the NTCH IDEAS Lab - R&D: Huang Ding-Yun's Performing Insanity, which combines online interactions and participating performance to verify what insanity is from various perspectives; Chen Lu-huan’s Exit, where the creator explores the life as if it were a competition based on her own experience as a competitive athlete; and Hung Yu-wen’s Parallax Archeology, where Hung constructs a fantasy journey of sounds through multiple layers of objects, music instruments, and installations. In addition, the specially invited music program, Catalysis: Fusion of Senses by 3PEOPLEMUSIC, explores the catalysis effect of music, dance and video

About Catalysis: Fusion of Senses Catalysis: Fusion of Senses is conceived by 3PEOPLEMUSIC, the music group known for turning tradition into bold innovation.

The concert features a combination of dizi, ruan, zheng, and a string quartet to perform three compositions. The music performance incorporates dance and images to create a fusion of senses and to better interpret the inspirations of composers. The audience will experience a brand new sensation of the catalysis of cross-disciplinary arts like never before.

The concept of the concert originated from 3PEOPLEMUSIC’s experience of being on tour in France and performing with local string musicians. This time, four excellent Taiwanese string musicians are invited to join the concert in order to change the traditional sound experience and collaboration mode. Music lexicons from different cultures are connected in the concert as well as the use of dance and images to create a fusion with music. The entire concert performance becomes a catalysis process in which each independent element of art fuses together with one another to create music experience that appeals to multiple senses.

Pressed Flowers in Glass

by Lu Yi-ting In order to preserve the beauty of life, flowers become immortal and lose the natural ability to wither and fade. This creates a struggling distortion.

Zhong, Zhan by Lin Wei-chieh It is the remaking of pure music.

Multiple layers of voices interweave together. Three musicians and a string quartet extend, enlarge, and manifest the music.

Catalysis by Huang Ling-hsuan Inspired by the concept of a chemical phenomenon, seven musicians interact with one another and build the music together.

Independent voices become “catalysts” for other sounds and speed up the combination reaction of different sounds to create a new “product.”

From the Composers Are there other possibilities for music besides listening to it?

In addition to making music that is to pleasing to the ears, can we allow the audience to listen to bad music, sharp noises, music that gives you goosebumps, or even music that let you experience ASMR? More questions: Can music be seen? Can music move? When I listen to the music, I focus on it, close my eyes, and use only my ears to feel how the music surrounds me. When I watch an image, I let my imagination run amok in my brain.

When I dance, I move my body in ways that violate the daily routines of how I use my body. “Eyes, ears and body” are exquisite

senses by themselves. Our conscious brain interprets our sensory stimulations and tells us what we experience. To experience the “fusion of senses”, we may divide out attention to listen, watch, and move at the same time. We may feel all the senses together in the same time. Instead of focusing on any one sense, we just rely on our consciousness to tell us what we are experiencing. Or else, we may open up all our attentions to analyze how sounds are constructed, how images are fabricated before our eyes, how our skin feels the forces of dancers moving with their bodies around us. We may open up all our attention and senses to experience all of the above with “the fusion of senses.”

“I need an instruction.” The inspiration of the composer becomes the only central idea of the music. The textual guidance and the musicians’ interpretation of sound become catalysts. They are embodied in the presentation of images and dance.

They also become the sensations of the audience. When we shift from linear (conception, score writing, performance of music, listening, combining dance and video with the music, and final performance) to non-linear (conception, score writing for music, video, and dance, listen to the dance, combining music, video, and dance altogether, and final performance), what kind of performance will we make after the catalysis of this shift of process?

There has been more than one way of discussing the concept of music. The usual way we listen to music is just one way out of many possibilities. The current concert is a kind of “to say something in other words.”

That is, it is to interpret the same thing from different angles.

That is why I want to present this concert. Catalysis: Fusion of Senses is certainly not the first innovative attempt.

And it won’t be the last one. But it will be the only one for the three of us.

About the Music Pressed Flowers in Glass by Lu Yi-ting Pressed Flowers in Glass is for dizi, ruan, zheng, and string quartet. Making pressed flowers in glass is seen as a symbolic way to preserve the beauty of life.

In order to preserve the beauty of plants, fresh flowers are decolored, dehydrated, and further processed before placing into a storage container. However, once the flowers have become immortal, they lose the ability to wither and fade. The flowers become unnatural. In this piece of music, the idea of unnaturalness is interpreted by using combinations of different types of timbre, interweaving of multiple voices and rhythms, and using similar and repetitious music segments to create perceived changes of time in auditory sensation. The idea of making the pressed flowers is also emphasized in the connections of seven musicians and their instruments in which the techniques for one music instrument are forcefully applied to other instruments.

This seems reasonable in appearance, but the acoustic resonance of each instrument becomes dampened more or less in the process. However, instead of criticizing this process, the music attempts to objectively present the process and explore how

different ideas can be applied to adjust the sounds in order to achieve a balance. In this composition, the composer attempts to embody the disturbance of the society by finding a corresponding state of certain shapes of music instruments and musicians.

Using special perfor ming techniques and alternative ways to play the music instruments, the composer employs the metaphor of pressed flower in glass to express a certain concern about the world.

Zhong, Zhan by Lin Wei-chieh Zhong, Zhan is for dizi, ruan, zheng, and string quartet. String quartet has a long history and has its own status and significance in Western music. In a string quartet, the four different instruments combine as a whole to sustain consistency in music. In comparison, being Chinese music instruments, dizi, ruan, and zheng not only have their own unique sounds, they also have abundant space for development in terms of musical timbre and quality. The word “Zhong” in the title of the composition means “many people.” It indicates the friends who grow together by playing music as a group for a long time. It also signifies the three traditional Chinese music instruments featured in 3PEOPLEMUSIC. The other word “Zhan” in the title means “displaying and developing.” It refers to how a string quartet uses exquisite techniques to achieve multi-layers of sound quality. It also describes how a string quartet can extend, enlarge, manifest and further develop music features of dizi, ruan, and zheng.

Catalysis by Huang Ling-hsuan Catalysis is for dizi, ruan, zheng, and string quartet. Catalysis is a chemical phenomenon that employs catalysts to speed up a chemical reaction. The inspiration of the composition comes from the composer’s observation and imaginative interpretation of this chemical phenomenon. In this piece, seven musicians interact with one another to build the whole music. Sometimes they play together.

Sometimes they become independent and separate. The sound of each instrument functions not only as an independent voice but also as a catalyst for other sounds. The quality of each sound remain unchanged, but the presence of the “catalysts” does speed up the reaction of combination of multiple sounds and creates a new product – a new sound experience, a new concept, and a new mode of collaboration.

S o m e t i m e s t h e s e v e n m u s i c i a n s a re playing independently. Sometimes they also seem to become a whole through sounds and concrete ways of contact.

Catalysis becomes the central theme of the composition that cannot be expressed explicitly. However, the theme is dominant in the composition at all times.

Profile 3PEOPLEMUSIC 3PEOPLEMUSIC was founded by Kuo Jing-mu, Pan I-tung and Jen Chung in 2013. They not only had the trio started to commission tailor-made compositions for their repertoire in addition to their own works, making them one of the few groups

in the local younger generation to focus long-term on fixed format classical Chinese chamber music, but also selected as a participant in the Mentor and Partnership Program by the Taiwan Music Institute, the National Center for Traditional Arts (NCFTA). In 2016, 3PEOPLEMUSIC released its first same-name album, which was nominated next year in the 28th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music. Representing the voice of Taiwan’s new generation, the trio have toured in Japan, South Korea, India, Germany and other countries.

3PEOPLEMUSIC continually presents new repertoire including the works created separately as well as jointly by the three musicians, and other works commissioned by composers, in an effort to bring in new creative perspectives and ideas, revitalize the existing performances, and to discover new sounds.

Zheng︱Kuo Jing-mu Born in Yilan, Taiwan, Kuo graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts with a Master degree in the Chinese Music Department, and Chinese Music Department of Tainan National University of the Arts. Currently, Kuo is the head of 3PEOPLEMUSIC, the member of C-CAMERATA TAIPEI, and adjunct teacher in Chinese Music Department of Tainan National University of the Arts.

Kuo has won numerous awards, including the first prize of “2016 TCO (The Taipei Chinese Orchestra) International Composition Competition”, the winner of the “New Artists” award sponsored by the Ministry of Culture from 2013 to

2015, NTCH’s “Young Stars” series in 2013 and 2011, Chiuko Traditional Orchestra’s fourth “New Talent” series in 2012, the best interpretation award of the first Star of Taiwan Traditional Instrument & Tainan Cultural Ambassador Competition in 2010, the champion of the fourteenth Taipei Folk Instrument Competition in 2007, Chinese Music Association’s Plucked and Bowed Strings Competition from 2002 to 2005. Recently, Kuo is commissioned

by Taiwanese music groups, including Chinese Music Association, Chinese Music Department of National Taiwan University of Arts, Da Guran Zheng Orchestra, Yu Lin Zheng Orchestra, Zhi Xin Zheng Orchestra, etc., and also collaborates with different performers, composers and crossfield artists, including Trend Education Foundation’s Literature Theater, Boulevard Art Festival Tainan etc. Kuo composes etudes and music pieces for teaching and concerts. Nature in heptatonic scale zheng was published in 2014 and the same name album was released in 2015. The album was nominated for the 27th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional and Music - Best World Fusion Album.

Dizi & Xiao︱Jen Chung Jen Chung is from Taipei, Taiwan and graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts with a Master degree in the Chinese Music Department, and Chinese Music Department of Tainan National University of the Arts. Currently he is the music director of 3PEOPLEMUSIC member of Vita Eterna, and adjunct teacher of National Taiwan College of Performing Arts.

As a student, he had won the prize of Chiuko Traditional Orchestra’s “New Talent” series in 2012. Champion of New Art’s “Star Show” competition in 2007, and was selected in “New Star of Music - Traditional Chinese Instruments” of Taipei Chinese Orchestra. Champion of Taipei Folk Orchestra Huang Zhong Award for youth in 2006, Chinese Music Association’s dizi competition for adults in 2005, Tainan County Competition of Music for College A section in 2005.

Santa Fe’s Minister of Culture described his performance as “ Jen Chung crosses the boundaries between east and west via music, and his performance is very touching.” In recent years, he has invited

the zhongruan member of A Moving Sound.

Pan is the winner of NTCH’s “Young Stars” series in 2012, “Star of TNNUA” in 2007, performed Memory of Yunnan Zhongruan Concerto and the video has hit hundreds of thousands views on YouTube. The champion of National Student Competition of Music for College - Ruan Xian section in 2007, and Chinese Music Association’s Plucked and Bowed Strings Competition for Youth in 2002 and 2004. In addition to playing zhongruan in 3PEOPLEMUSIC, Pan also tries to compose Spirit of Mountain, The Sensation

of the Pentatonic Scale, Grappling with the Ghosts, Suites, etc., and she also collaborates with ensembles of diverse artistic styles. Pan has toured around Europe, America, and Asia. In a recent performance in the States, she was highly acclaimed as the “Asian Eddie Van Halen”.

During the study in Shanghai, she attended the recording many times with Bandu Music Publication, including “Bandu Canopy Live Selection CD” with folk songs, “Qu Yi” Bandu Chamber Music groups EP and “Music Moment” Bandu Ruan Trio.
