While training and discipline make our warfighters sharp, their families are where they find their strength.

Civilian childcare providers serve as a vital part of the military family. Whether preparing toddlers for school or guiding young people through critical stages of growth, these dedicated professionals create safe, supportive environments that foster resilience, curiosity, and confidence.

While civilian childcare professionals may not wear uniforms or receive medals, their service is no less critical. They enable America’s warfighters to carry out their duties without worry, knowing their children are in caring, capable hands.
