Hill Haven Farm is very pleased to invite you to our " 2013 SELECTIONS SALE " featuring some of the best Shorthorns we have raised. We strive to produce functional, phenotypical Shorthorns that can both compete in the show ring and be productive for years to come.

We are most appreciative of our guest consignors for choosing their best for the sale and a special thank-you to Huberdale Farms who came from Saskatchewan to be a part of Hill Haven's sale.

Thank you for your interest in our programs. We look forward to seeing you on sale day.

Terms of the sale are cash or cheque in Canadian dollars, payable at the farm immediately following the close of the sale; prior arrangements must be made in order for purchases to be invoiced.

It is not necessary to attend the sale in order to participate in the sale; if you cannot attend your bids will be handled in a professional manner; please contact the consignor or a Livestock Representative for assistance. You may also register with Cattle In Motion and bid on line in real time - call CIM at 1-888-5548437.

All sale cattle are sound and in good health; all sale animals as well as the consignors' respective entire herds of cattle are on annual vaccination programs including blackleg and all cattle are treated with Ivomec .

All open females are guaranteed to be breeders provided they do not fail to breed due to injury or disease occurring after purchase; any female sold as open who fails to conceive to a bull must be reported to the seller before she reaches 18 months of age.

All females sold as bred have been pregnancy tested and declared by a vet to be safe in calf and a veterinarian’s certificate will be available.

All bull calves are guaranteed to be breeders by the time they reach 16 months of age or over provided they are free of illness and injury and provided they are used on cows known to be breeders; if a bull fails to breed cows after 16 months of age the matter must be reported to the seller before he reaches 20 months of age.

All sale animals have been tested and are TH Free or are declared TH Free by pedigree.

All necessary health documents required for export to the US will be provided by the seller at no cost to the buyer; the seller will facilitate all export arrangements on request.

At the buyer's request the seller will arrange to have cattle delivered to central points in the US or Canada for an amount not to exceed $300 per lot. For further details on delivery options please contact the consignor directly.

Each animal becomes the risk of the buyer as soon as sold.

Purchased animals will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time to be mutually agreed . It is advised that buyers purchase full insurance for the value of the animal: insurance will be available at the settlement desk. Neither the owners, employees, auctioneers or sale personnel can be responsible for accidents, but they will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending.

All sale lots are registered with CLRC unless otherwise noted and a Canadian certificate of registry transferred to the new owner will be furnished for each Canadian registered animal in a timely manner.
