t is with great pride and fulfillment that the crew at Diamond T Cattle offers this set of elite herd building genetics for your

them. Summer time is a 2000 acre pasture with hills and ability to walk a mile a day for water. These heifers were then weaned October 1st and have been on a developer ration since. All these factors contribute to these brood females being honest, fresh in condition, never show-ring fat – they are going to do nothing but look better for you every day from your initial investment. Genetically the herd continues to advance with the purchase of fresh pedigrees from Canada's most reputable operations. If we’re not raising the best, how can you have confidence you’re owning the best? Visitors to the ranch have already commented that this is the strongest set of females on offer from Diamond T ever. Cattle from past sales are proving their worth, being division and breed champions in 4-H, Junior and open breed shows. Even more impressive is that they are spitting out calves that are paying for the initial investment. Our junior incentive program has been extraordinarily successful and lucrative for youth the past 4 years paying out in excess of $11,000. This not only gives the kids incentive but is a direct correlation to the mindset of Diamond T Cattle. Support and invest in the future generations of our industry and it will pay dividends. Please feel free to stop in any time at to the ranch and view the offering, have a beverage, or a just great visit about cows. It’s what we all love. Your valued support and endorsement in our program through the Diamond Mine and the Stockman’s Choice bull sale is adamantly appreciated. Come Sunday December 4th for the open house with the down-home hospitality that is always delivered by our crew. Brody, Justine, Calynn & Hiller Gardner Gary & Donna Smith

Deciding a leadoff lot 1 heifer out of this group is harder than getting your wife to stop on the football game when it’s her night to run the remote. To exhibit the horsepower in her design with a massive top, huge barrel and tremendous profile while carrying the maternal prowess genetically she does, the decision was made to start with Diamond T Missie 1606. To combine cows like N Bar Primrose 2424, Remitall Karma 102W, Brookmore Karama 100T and KFC 9205 Britta 9715W in a pedigree together, this heifer had no choice but to be a standout. You will travel a lot of miles with this heifer in the showring ring or pasture checking when you make this investment and she will continue to impress. The Remitall F Rage 9A progeny have been setting Canada on fire being high sellers at HBH, Remitall Farms, Atlasta and Diamond T. She is one of the best ever produced at the farm and she will be a lot that is talked about all fall. D i a m o n d M i n e 2 0 1 6   ◊   Pa g e 5

Wow! The Brooking Bank Note offspring are going to blow the barn doors off the competition. Check out the first 4 heifers in Brooking’s fall sale. They are the real deal. This super stout boned, huge hipped heifer from the Tibbie cow family has monster power with a great maternal look. When you analyze her on paper, she ranks in the top 1% of the breed for WW and YW and the top 10% for TM. If you ever get a free minute, ask Luke & Ceanna Tannas how their first set of calves look like from the $25,000 Diamond T Samcro 1445. They hit the ground with loads of vigour, have great hair, incredible bulk in their middle third and a design that grabs the attention of all ranch visitors. Primrose 1631 is an exquisite example of Angus genetics with a feminine head, neck and shoulder blending into a bold rib cage and heaps of structural fluidity. If you’re a junior looking to have a massive advantage in your club or on the junior show road, have a glance at this stunner.

When you analyze Angus cattle enough you come to realize that they are great uddered, feed efficient, hardy and gorgeous to look at. We believe all the same adjectives apply to Miss Quality 1657. Tremendous Angus character in her skull and front end, that low centre of gravity that embodies feed conversion and just flat good on the profile. She’s soft in her fore rib and flank while having an absolute beautiful look visually from all sides.  Her sire, the $19,000 South Shadow 6Y Tomboy 130B is a calving ease dream that left us a set of sons that will make lots of noise in February at the bull sale. This March Upward heifer is a mirror image of her Nighthawk mother, she’s bold sprung, strong boned and has that maternal, brood female look. We haven’t worked with many heifers in the past decades that are any more docile than Primrose 1658. If you’re a junior looking for a great starter project with papers and a ranch name to stand behind that is a better investment than a commercial heifer, stop and pay attention.

EXT, Traveler 416 and Upward, this is an extremely maternal pedigree. Now slap the Missie 9715W donor on the bottom side and you have a great combination. This maternal sister to the commanding lot 1 heifer is ultra attractive and refined in her design and super sweet fronted. Halter breaking was a dream with her so this is a great first time show heifer prospect.

This powerhouse broody cow is a real tank and a maternal sister to the $25,000 Samcro bull. The Harvestor cattle have mass, muscle, bone and the rare capability to convert grass to pounds. SIXTEEN Maternal grand-dam of Lot 16

This gorgeous fronted, ultra smooth made heifer is real nice package. Auction Guidelines HOW TO PARTICIPATE • In order to participate in the online auction you will need to pre-register and obtain a buyer number. • To do this, go to the LiveAuctions website, www.liveauctions.tv, and select Diamond Mine Online Sale. • After logging in the buyer registration form should pop up automatically. If it doesn’t there is a link you can select that says “register for a buyer number’. • This form requires you to fill out your bank name, city, state (province), phone number and a contact. • You may register to bid after the sale opens but please remember that authorization to bid is not instantaneous. We recommend that your register for a buyer number at least the day before the closing of the sale.

HOW THE AUCTION WORKS • Once you have a username and have received a buyer number then you are ready to bid. You will see a screen that is unique to your user ID. • There will be a list containing the sale lots. If you click on a lot the video clip or photo will be displayed to the right. The next bid, current price, proxy bid and manual bid buttons will be displayed below the video area. This page will react to your bids by stating, “you are in” or “you are out”. • No one else will be able to see your bid- that data is not accessible to the public. • Each time you login, the auction screen will display your personal bidding information. You auction screen is unique and private displaying your activity to only you. • Remember that you must have the lot that you are bidding on selected. This is where it tells you if you are in or out. It is here where you can also see your proxy bid settings (as applicable).

WHAT IS A PROXY BID? With a proxy bid you can enter your maximum bid and then sit back and watch. When you enter a proxy bid amount the LiveAuctions system automatically bids on your behalf up to your maximum bid. If the lot closes out for less than your maximum, that’s all you pay. This means that you don’t have to keep coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed. This makes it more convenient and les time consuming, it can also greatly assist those breeders that can’t be near a computer or are busy with other duties at the time of final bidding and closeout.

Blue Chip, Service sire to Lot 17

Your maximum amount is kept confidential from other bidder and the seller. Even though you can see this amount on your screen no one else can. The LiveAuctions system compares your bid to those of the other registered bidders and the system automatically places bids on your behalf, using only as much of your bid as is necessary to maintain your high bid position. The system will only bid up to your maximum amount necessary to maintain you as the high bidder. If another bidder had a higher maximum you’ll be outbid and the system will tell you that “YOU’RE OUT.” But if no other bidder has a higher maximum you win the final bid.

THE FINAL CLOSE OUT BIDDING PROCESS When the bidding starts the bidding clock will run for a pre announced time (usually 30-45 seconds) or until there is a bid at which time the clock will rewind to its original 30 or 45 seconds. For example: if the bidding clock gets down to 1 second remaining then a higher bid is submitted, the clock will then restart. The rewind process will continue with each bid received until the allotted time elapses without a bid. Then the lot will be considered sold. Each year we receive a few calls after the sale from breeders who were interested in bidding on a heifer but failed to watch the bidding clock and let the bidding time expire. So if you are interested in a particular heifer be sure to submit your bid while there is still time on the clock. This is where using the proxy bid can come in handy insuring you do not miss a bid! The final sale close out will be Monday December 5th at 7:00PM. We will have a pre posted sale order that we will follow for the close out. At that time will be starting with the close out for the first lot on the sale order. At this time you may only bid on this lot, there video will be displayed as well as the clock counting down. There will also be a LiveAutions tech announcing during this time as to what price we are at and the amount of time left on the clock ( this information is also visible on your screen at this time). Once that lot has sold us will move on to the next lot and so on until all the lots have been closed one at a time. If you have any questions feel free to contact any of the LiveAuctions staff and that would be happy to assist you. Maternal brother to Lot 20 embryos

Just a few weeks ago there was a massive stir at Red Round Up on the $25,000 Red Crowfoot Blackbird 6125S cow that Golden Sunset Ranch bought from us last year. Her Red Brylor Mulberry 26P embryos sold for $1150/embryo to Nebraska and her pick of the Red Six-Mile Signature 295B winter 2017 born calves sold for $15,000 to Bar 4 A. This cow had so many admirers last year for her maintenance free body condition and pure brood cow power. How about the sire being the Denver champion Fat Tony bull who consistency produces moderate statured, heavy milking daughters and sons very excepted by commercial cattleman. These embryos are full sibs to the lot 13 heifer.
