JESSICA GIANNONE is an actor, teaching artist, and NY Times recommended baker (Pie Birds). She earned her MFA in Professional Acting at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she was chosen “Expert’s Choice” by THE STAGE, and her BFA in Performing Arts from SCAD, where she was awarded for Outstanding Artistic Achievement. Most recently, Jessica played Jen in The Cake by Bekah Brunstetter (NBC’s This is Us) at Cape Fear Regional Theater (BroadwayWorld Award). Other credits include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre (Falstaff Award Nom.), Petal in 1st NYC Revival of Michael John LaChiusa’s Marie Christine, Torchbearing Ladies (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Upton Abbey (Upright Citizens Brigade), and Musical Improv Megawatt (Magnet Theatre). TESTAMENT is part of 59E59 Theaters PLAYS IN PLACE season of virtual events. 59E59 Theaters was established by the Elysabeth Kleinhans Theatrical Foundation in 2004 to grant professional space and expertise to non-profit theater companies premiering their work in New York City. Under the leadership of Val Day, Artistic Director, and Brian Beirne, Managing Director, 59E59 Theaters presents a year-round curated program of Off Broadway plays and musicals that are nurtured and supported through highly-subsidized rental rates, as well as production, ticketing, FOH, marketing, and press support.
