Golden Light Presents is a new collective dedicated to showcasing their joint projects; providing an outreach platform for the work of their friends and fellow collaborators, and developing new creative works within the literary, visual, and performing arts.

Daniel Amedee (He/Him) is a musician, writer and actor from New Orleans, who writes and performs with his band, LIGHT SOUND. He’s been touring full time since 2009 and has performed all over the US, Canada, Ireland, and England. He has been fortunate enough to work with industry notables such as Noel Hogan (The Cranberries), Pat Spurgeon (Rogue Wave), and Sylvain Carton (Beats Antique) to name a few. Daniel also recently published his first novel, Human World, with indie publishing house Boyle and Dalton.
Conor is an actor, theatremaker, teacher, and arts advocate. Conor has performed Off-Broadway as well as a few small TV roles. He has performed (or seen his original works performed) on stages across the country and Great Britain. He is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Scranton Fringe Festival as well as a proud member of the New Vintage Ensemble and the Dramatist Guild of America. Conor firmly believes in the power the arts have to transform and inspire not only the individual but entire communities and wishes to offer his deepest thanks to the 59e59 team for their generosity!
MICHAEL PILOT (Director) Since college graduation (1970), Michael Pillot (he/ him) has been involved in a number of various platforms of the creative process within the entertainment business. His stints at both Columbia Records & EMI’s Music Video Division, Picture Music, Inc. afforded him the opportunity to work with a virtual who’s who of the music industry’s most beloved artists including: Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel, Willie Nelson, Miles Davis, et al, in areas as varied as artist development, marketing, management & production. Born in New Orleans (and living in New York City since 1974) he has acquired an extensive collection of Playbill’s dating to his 1st Broadway musical experience “Hair” during the Summer of ‘68 while spending time in New York following his attendance @ Woodstock Music & Arts Festival. His business involvement with the musician Daniel Amedee led to his first hands-on experience in staging and eventually directing LIVE musical theater. He is indebted to the Static
creators for their faith in allowing him to participate in the telling of their beautiful & powerful story.
STATIC is part of 59E59 Theaters PLAYS IN PLACE season of virtual events. 59E59 Theaters was established by the Elysabeth Kleinhans Theatrical Foundation in 2004 to grant professional space and expertise to nonprofit theater companies premiering their work in New York City. Under the leadership of Val Day, Artistic Director, and Brian Beirne, Managing Director, 59E59 Theaters presents a year-round curated program of Off Broadway plays and musicals that are nurtured and supported through highly-subsidized rental rates, as well as production, ticketing, FOH, marketing, and press support.
