Greetings Friends
Welcome to the first edition of theDove Studio Insider. It is our heartfelt desire that this publication will give you further insight into theDove Network’s operations and impact— and how your partnership brings hope to so many people every hour of the day.
Daily we hear testimonials from viewers and listeners about how our programming is positively affecting their lives. Renewed strength and encouragement in their daily walk with Christ is happening. While others are receiving answers to questions they’ve wondered for years. For most, theDove is their only spiritual connection. And yes, they are coming to Christ for the very first time!
It is an exciting season to be involved in Christian media bearing witness to how God is using radio, TV, the internet, digital platforms, and the printed word to reach people with His love and grace.
We value your input! Would you take a moment to fill out a quick questionnaire found inside this booklet’s return envelope, and share with us your favorite Radio and TV programs?
As you read the various reports, I trust you will see how your faithful support is making a real difference and how vital you are to the harvest set before us.
Thank you for believing in, praying for, and supporting theDove.
Every blessing,
Perry Atkinson, President/CEO
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns”.”

Marketing Minute
God’s blessings have been bountiful to theDove as we closed out 2025. We finished the year strong—completing our studio remodel, hosting an Open House in October (thank you to those who were able to join us), holding our annual Ministries Appreciation Luncheon for local parachurch leaders in November, and partnering with Sparrow Clubs to host their Christmas party for local children and families with medical needs in December.
Now here we are in a new year, excited and expectant for all the Lord will bring to theDove in 2026!
For some time, theDove has desired to produce additional in-house programs alongside our award-winning Mornings on theDove and Focus Today with Perry Atkinson. I am thrilled to share that we are now producing not one, but two brandnew programs: Season to Shine and Ministries on the Move. Season to Shine is a lifestyle program for women, diving into relevant topics of the day, sharing faith journeys, and celebrating all things women. Ministries on the Move highlights local parachurch ministries serving our community, featuring a different ministry each episode. We hope these two new programs will inspire, encourage, and enrich your life.
Thank you for your continued prayers, viewership, and support. You are a vital part of theDove family, and we are grateful to walk this journey with you. Together, we look forward to a year filled with opportunity, growth, and God’s unmistakable goodness. With appreciation and every blessing,
Melinda Robertson, Director of Marketing & Development
Hello Wonderful People
Sales Scoop
Over the last few months, life at theDove has been nothing short of extraordinary. As we moved into the final stretch of the year, God opened doors, stirred hearts, and reminded us once again that His plans for this ministry are alive, active, and unfolding in ways that continue to humble and inspire us.
If we haven’t met yet, my name is Tammy Cordonier, and I have the privilege of serving as the General Partnership & Sales Manager here at theDove. I joined the team with a deep love for storytelling, a passion for connecting people, and—above all—a desire to honor Jesus Christ in every place He calls me. He is my Lord and Savior, and it is by His grace that I am here to serve this community that I have quickly grown to love.
That’s what I love most about theDove. Yes, we work hard. Yes, we innovate. Yes, we plan and strategize. But at the core, everything we do is built on one message: Jesus Christ is King, and we want every viewer, listener, and visitor to encounter His love, His truth, and His hope through this ministry.
I want to personally thank you—for watching, for listening, for praying, and for believing in the mission God has given theDove. I look forward to meeting more of you, hearing your stories, and working together as we continue to shine the light of Christ across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
May God richly bless you.
Tammy Cordonier, General Sales Manager, theDove
Staff Spotlight
Dan Camden | Chief Engineer
What is one way you’ve seen God move at theDove recently?
Wow, it’s hard not to notice. There have been so many changes recently that show how much God is moving. I’m very excited to be able to be a part of this.
What worship song or Christian book has impacted you lately?
I’ve been listening to a lot of Brandon Lake recently especially “That’s Who I Praise”.
What project or moment at theDove are you most proud of?
Lol, can I say all of them? Having a hand in the new studio is definitely at the top of the list.
What skills or background prepared you for the work you do now?
Everything in my life since I was a kid taking apart electronics and toys to High School being a “techie” in theater. Then working as Sound Engineer at the Craterian Theater and stage crew at Britt and a little in the construction field. Then God decided I needed more experience in IT and I got laid off and found my first IT job and went from there. Looking back, I can definitely see God’s direction in everything.
What’s something people are often surprised to learn about you?
I’m right-handed but wear my watch on my right hand. Really throws them off.
What’s your go-to comfort meal?
Mexican... all day, every day.
What’s a hobby you enjoy outside of work?
Spending time with my girls (and wife). Playing video games and working on my home network. Also, spending time in the woods.

Fun Facts / Did you Know?
Epiphany – January 6
Known as Three Kings Day in many countries, Epiphany celebrates God revealing Himself to the world. In Western Christianity, it honors the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus, showing that God’s gift of salvation is meant for everyone. In Eastern Christianity, the day commemorates Jesus’ baptism, when His divine identity was revealed to all. Whether in the East or the West, Epiphany is a time to reflect on God making Himself known to humanity.
Did You Know…
The very first Valentine’s message we know of was written way back in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while he was locked up in the Tower of London. Today, that heartfelt poem is part of the British Library’s manuscript collection and begins with the words, “I am already sick of love, my very gentle Valentine.” That’s more than 400 years before Valentine’s cards became the mass-produced tradition we know today!
Joke:
Who was the smartest person in the Bible?
Abraham, he knew a Lot.
Winter reminds us that God is the One who governs the flow of time and the turning of every season. The shift from autumn’s fading colors to winter’s stillness is no accident, it’s part of a rhythm He designed. In the same way, He guides the seasons of our lives, allowing each one to unfold under His careful and intentional direction.
Though winter may appear barren on the surface, it is a time when the hidden work of renewal begins. Beneath the quiet landscape, the earth is being restored. This mirrors the spiritual pauses God gives us; moments when He invites us to step back, breathe, and let Him replenish our souls.
Scripture shows us that even Jesus stepped away to rest and pray, recognizing the value of quiet spaces. Winter can serve as our reminder to follow His example, embracing times of stillness so we can draw strength from God and be ready for what He will bring in the seasons ahead.
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
