“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” ~ Psalm 126:3

“Dear theDove, Praising God for our freedoms and that we can enjoy spiritual input from theDove 24/7.

Thank you all so much, I am truly blessed by theDove.”

~ Judy, Grants Pass, OR

From Perry’s Pen

I recently saw a sign in a nursery that read, “The best time to plant a tree was fifteen years ago. The second-best time to plant a tree is today.”

There are two ways to respond to that message. We can dwell in regret over what we wish we had done years ago - or we can choose to begin again today.

From a biblical perspective, missed opportunities are never beyond God’s reach. Scripture reminds us that God is able to redeem the years that seem lost and to bring new life where we least expect it. It is never too late for Him to do a new work in your life. Often, we hear from listeners and viewers who were impacted by theDove’s programming-people who decided to start fresh, to “plant a tree,” and begin a new journey with Christ. Their stories are living reminders that God is still in the business of renewal.

What about you? Instead of looking back, look forward. Step outside this spring and plant something- a tree, a rosebush, or even a simple flower - as a symbol of new beginnings in your walk with Christ. Like the spring season, let new life, new hope, and new direction anchor you as you move forward.

Because of your prayers and faithful support of this unique media ministry, countless people are doing just that every day. As you read the updates from our various departments, I trust you will see how your partnership is making a real and lasting difference, and how vital you are to the harvest before us.

Please take a moment to fill out the enclosed questionnaire and share with us your favorite radio and television programs. Your feedback helps us continue serving you well. Thank you again for believing in, praying for, and supporting theDove. May this spring be filled with renewal, hope, and joy.

Many spring blessings,

P.S. Go ahead… plant a tree today.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Marketing Minute

Hello, Wonderful People

Spring has a way of reminding us that God is always at work; bringing new life, fresh beginnings, and renewed hope. As we step into this season, our hearts are especially drawn to Easter, the greatest celebration of our faith. The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our hope and the reason we proclaim the Gospel with confidence and joy.

This spring has also been a season of growth and celebration for theDove. We are so thankful for your enthusiastic response to our two newly launched television programs, Season to Shine and Ministries on the Move. It has been a joy to share stories of faith, obedience, and God’s faithfulness; and to hear how these programs are encouraging viewers in their daily walk with Christ.

We are also grateful to share that theDove was honored to receive the 2026 NRB Station of the Year Award in Nashville in February. This recognition is a testament to God’s faithfulness and to a community of listeners, viewers, partners, and staff who believe in the mission of sharing hope through media.

In another exciting step forward, theDove Radio and TV content is now available on the PRAY.com app, allowing our programming to reach even more hearts around the world. We are continually amazed at how God opens doors when His people pray and remain faithful.

Thank you for your prayers, your faithful listening and viewing, and your generous support. You are an essential part of this ministry, and we are deeply grateful to walk this journey with you. As we celebrate Easter and all that Christ has done for us, may you be filled with hope, peace, and the joy of new life in Him.

With gratitude and blessings,

Sales Scoop

“Spring is the season of invitation - and theDove helps businesses turn that invitation into growth.”

Spring changes everything.

It invites new beginnings, fresh momentum, and renewed connections with the communities we serve. For local businesses, ministries, and organizations, spring is more than a season - it’s an opportunity to be seen, heard, and remembered.

At theDove, we believe effective marketing is built on trust. Our audiences don’t simply scroll past messages; they engage with them. They listen daily, watch intentionally, read thoughtfully, and return often. When businesses partner with theDove across television, radio, print, and digital, their message is woven into a trusted environment where relationships already exist.

Spring marketing is about invitation. Inviting new customers to discover you. Inviting loyal customers to reengage. Inviting your story to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Whether it’s the credibility of television, the consistency of radio, the staying power of print, or the reach of digital, theDove helps businesses show up with clarity and purpose - meeting people where they are and guiding them toward action.

Scripture reminds us of the promise found in faithful investment:

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” - Galatians 6:9

We see this principle at work every day. When businesses communicate intentionally and partner wisely, growth follows.

Thank you for being part of theDove community. Whether you are a longtime supporter, a business owner, or discovering us for the first time, we invite you to grow with us this spring - and watch what God brings to life.

With gratitude and expectation,

“At theDove, your message doesn’t interrupt life—it becomes part of it.”

Staff Spotlight

What is the first thing you do when you walk into the studio?

Turn on the lights, LOL, it’s still dark at 4:30 AM! I then set up the studio for the morning live shows that day with cameras, monitors and other equipment and get ready to record.

What’s one snack or dessert you can’t resist?

Baklava! I cannot resist Baklava, especially when it’s made with pistachios and fresh from the oven…

What’s one part of your job that people might not realize goes on behind the scenes?

Teamwork. It takes a whole crew of people to make our live shows come together.

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

Prior to working in television, I worked in the travel industry for 15 years beginning at the age of 18. Primarily Cruise Lines and Airlines, most of which were British companies.

Where’s your favorite place you’ve travelled to?

That’s a hard one but I’d have to say Burma (Myanmar) followed by Sri Lanka, India, and Turkey.

What do you enjoy most about serving in your role?

The opportunity to serve the Lord in getting out the Gospel each day.

Finish this sentence: “I love being part of theDove because… I get to see the impact of the ministry in so many people’s lives and even helping other ministries to help others right here in our own community.”

~ 1 Peter 1:3-4

Thank You to Our Audience & Partners

To our listeners, viewers, and faithful partners—thank you. Your prayers and generosity continue to strengthen theDove and make this ministry possible every day. Because of your giving heart, we are able to maintain and upgrade essential equipment, support daily operations, expand our audience, and create new opportunities to share the Gospel of Christ with clarity and hope.

“theDove has been a steady source of encouragement for me. It’s helped keep my heart focused on God through everyday life.”

– Robert, Nampa, ID

Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:10–15 that God supplies seed to the sower and bread for food—and then multiplies what is given, producing a harvest of righteousness. When God’s people give, needs are met, lives are touched, and thanksgiving overflows to God.

Giving is never just about provision—it’s about participation. Through your partnership, the message of Christ continues to reach hearts near and far, bringing encouragement, truth, and gratitude to God’s kingdom work.

Thank you for being part of what God is doing through theDove. Your generosity matters, your prayers are felt, and your partnership makes an eternal difference.

If theDove has been a blessing to you, we invite you to prayerfully consider continuing your partnership—helping us reach more hearts and share the Gospel even further.

“He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.

Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift!”

April Fools’ Day - April 1

A day of jokes, pranks, and playful tricks. Its origins may trace back to 16thcentury France, when New Year’s Day moved to January 1 and those who celebrated in spring became the “April fools.” Today, it’s a lighthearted reminder to laugh and not take ourselves too seriously.

Did You Know...

The modern Olympics made their comeback on April 6, 1896, bringing together athletes from around the world.

Just over a decade later, on April 15, 1912, the Titanic struck an iceberg, marking one of history’s most tragic maritime events.

Preparing Our Hearts for Resurrection Hope

As we continue the season of Lent, Scripture invites us into a sacred pause. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Lent is not merely about personal sacrifice of giving something up, but the relinquishing of self in drawing near to Christ. It is a season set apart for reflection, repentance, and renewed attentiveness to the voice of the Lord.

Jesus Himself modeled solitude, often withdrawing to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16). In the same way, Lent calls us to step away from distractions and create space for God to speak, shape, and restore our hearts.

The Word reminds us, “Return to Me with all your heart” (Joel 2:12). In returning, we find renewal. As winter gives way to spring, we are reminded that God brings new life, fresh hope, and lasting transformation to those who seek Him.

May this Lenten season be a time of stillness and surrender. A time spent in God’s presence that leads to deeper faith, a tender heart, and a renewed awareness of His abundant grace and unfolding blessings.

Reflection:

Lord, during this Lenten season, quiet our hearts and draw us closer to You. Help us reflect on Your sacrifice, renew our faith, and walk each day with hope and gratitude. Amen.

Maundy Thursday: Love in Action

Maundy Thursday marks the night before Jesus’ crucifixion, when He gathered with His disciples for the Last Supper. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning command, referring to Jesus’ words:

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” - John 13:34

On this night, Jesus did something unexpected. He knelt and washed His disciples’ feet; an act of humility usually reserved for servants. In doing so, He showed that true greatness in God’s Kingdom is found not in power, but in love expressed through service.

Maundy Thursday reminds us that faith is not only something we believe, but something we live. As we remember the Last Supper, we are invited to reflect on Christ’s sacrificial love, His call to serve others, and His command to love as He loves; freely, humbly, and completely.

As we move toward the cross and the hope of Easter, may this sacred night draw our hearts closer to Jesus and inspire us to live out His love in tangible ways.

“And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” - Luke 22:19

Good Friday: Love Poured Out

Good Friday is the day we pause at the foot of the cross.

It is a day marked by silence, sorrow, and deep reflection; a day when Jesus willingly laid down His life out of love for the world. On the cross, Christ carried the weight of sin, pain, and brokenness so that we might know forgiveness, freedom, and new life.

Scripture tells us, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13) On Good Friday, we remember that Jesus did this willingly, fully aware of the cost, and motivated by love and redemption alone.

The cross reminds us that God is not distant from our suffering. He entered into it. Jesus understands betrayal, grief, and anguish, and He meets us there. His final words, “It is finished”, were not words of defeat, but of victory. The debt was paid. The sacrifice was complete.

Good Friday invites us to slow our hearts, reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, and respond with gratitude and humility. As we sit in the quiet of this day, we remember that even in the darkest moment, God was working redemption.

The cross may mark a day of sorrow, but it also prepares us for the hope that is coming.

“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” - 1 John 4:10

Easter Sunday: Love Alive

Easter morning begins not with the sound of sorrow, but with the whisper of hope.

The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. And the love that was poured out on the cross now stands victorious over death. Jesus is alive!

On Easter, we celebrate that the story did not end at the grave. What seemed final on Good Friday was only the beginning of God’s redemptive power. Scripture proclaims, “ He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”

(Matthew 28:6)

The resurrection reminds us that despair never has the last word. Because Jesus lives, sin is defeated, forgiveness is complete, and new life is possible. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work today bringing light into dark places and hope into weary hearts.

Easter invites us to step into that hope. To live as people who believe that God still restores, still redeems, and still brings life where it once seemed impossible.

The cross shows us the depth of God’s love. The empty tomb assures us of His victory. And Easter calls us to walk forward in joy, gratitude, and renewed faith, because Christ is risen, and hope is alive.

“He is risen! He is risen, indeed!”
