Greetings, COTA VIP Superfan! Well, COTA VIP Superfans, we survived the Texas heat! Fortunately, the air-conditioned suite made for a very comfortable experience. The combination of outstanding food and service, an energetic atmosphere, and engaging conversations with racers and industry professionals made for two fantastic days in Suite 206. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event! Then we went outside and faced the elements. Oh la la, was it toasty, to say the least! But we survived in good spirits, going behind the scenes with MotoAmerica, visiting several team garages, checking out the Dunlop garage, and getting a peek inside a factory trailer and meeting a variety of industry celebrities, made for a fantastic morning of activities. To round out each day, while Mother Nature really turned up the heat it was no worries for the brave. We headed out onto the starting-line grid for the Mission King of the Baggers and Supersport classes. Getting a picture with your favorite racer and watching a few laps from the front straightaway was epic. Then, making our way to the podium to celebrate with the top three racers in both classes made for an even greater day. Being on the podium with the newly crowned Supersport champion Darryn Binder on Sunday had to be a highlight for everyone. Darren is a phenomenal and talented rider and comes from Krugersdorp, South Africa, and rides for the Celtic/Economy Lube & Tire Warehouse on a Ducati Panigale V2. In his 1st year of

MotoAmerica competition, Darren has posted 10 wins and 4 seconds, with 2 rounds remaining. This kind of achievement certainly deserves special recognition and that is the cover of this COTA issue. Well done my man, well done! On a final note, the showing of support and generosity: our Superfans were just SUPER. AJ Pearlee, riding in the Super Hooligan National Championship class, was our VIP Support Privateer. What has become a frenzy of goodwill at each event, our VIP’s once again raised the bar while we presented AJ an oversized check and an envelope of cash for $4,030.00. More on this in creditable goodwill on page && I want to thank everyone who entrusted us to make this such a memorable event. COTA is a world-class facility and our VIP’s were world-class guests! AJ Peaslee
AUSTIN, TX — Circuit of The Americas (COTA) roared with energy as the MotoAmerica VIP Superfans delivered an unforgettable wave of support for Mission Super Hooligan National Championship privateer racer AJ Peaslee during the MotoAmerica Superbikes at Texas event. The weekend’s randomly selected qualifying position — 21st — proved to be the lucky number for the Austin native, instantly making him the focus of the VIP Privateer Program’s generosity and enthusiasm. Peaslee, who grew up in the Pacific Northwest before relocating to the warmer climate of Austin, Texas, competes in MotoAmerica’s Mission Super Hooligan National Championship aboard his new-to-him 2026 Ducati Streetfighter V2. With COTA and Laguna Seca topping his list of favorite tracks, the season finale offered the perfect blend of home-state pride and highstakes racing The VIP Superfans’ contributions created a powerful boost for Peaslee’s privateer effort, highlighted by an auction — with the weekend’s guest racers serving as auctioneers — that included oversized action images of the guest racers captured by Barb and Geoff Nickles, a signed copy of Michael Hill’s Superbikes, the Stage and Me, autographed by Hill and three-time World Champion Wayne Rainey, exclusive

With one round remaining, we are well on our way to be over $25,000 in contributions for our racing privateers; that is just incredible. I can’t thank all of them enough. “I feel incredibly fortunate,” said Peaslee. “I was left speechless by the support from all the VIP SuperFans at COTA. This is just so cool to be a part of and a really special and unexpected way to end what has been a tough season! My team and I had a lot bigger plans coming into 2026 but we were only able to race at Laguna Seca and COTA after some unexpected hurdles. That sort of captures what it means to be a privateer, and racing just presents challenges that we all have to overcome. It takes a lot of hard work to make it to an event, so getting to compete at these tracks
is truly achieving a dream. I didn’t hit the results I’ve gotten in the past here when compared with my 4th place in 2023 and battling for the top 10 in 2024, but giving up is not an option! Thank you so much to everyone involved, both to the fans and MotoAmerica. This is something I’ll never forget, and I look forward to more racing in 2027.” With the season nearing its conclusion, the VIP Privateer Program is on track to surpass a remarkable milestone in contributions — a testament to the passion and generosity of the VIP community.
