Swain County Agricultural Fair, complete with judging of vegetables, flowers and eggs; youth livestock shows 4-H arts and crafts; quilts, jams, jellies and canned goods. Education booths, clogging, music, local food & craft vendors and old time fair games. $5 per vehicle admission. 828-488-3848.

The 115th Canton Labor Day Festival is a 2 day music concert filled with local musicians ending with award winning National acclaimed acts such as Diamond Rio. The event will have a farmer's market, craft market, antique car show, ultimate air dog show, food truck row, splash zone, beer garden and historic parade.

Street Rods, Muscle Cars, Classic Rat Rods, Customs, Pickups and Antiques Thursday and Friday show days 8:00 am till 6:00 pm. Saturday show hours 8:00 am till 4:00 pm. Judges for car show, judging all event days, Awards at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Admission 5.00 per day, 12 and under Free.
