Andrew Hunton brings over seventeen years of extensive construction experience as a skilled tradesman and site superintendent. He has successfully managed diverse projects, from retail to ground-up developments. Andrew holds an OSHA 30 certification and a Bachelor's in Construction Management and is the General Superintendent for 41 North Contractors. Clients highly value his professionalism and organizational skills. APPROACH AND PHILOSOPHY
At 41 North Contractors, we believe early collaboration leads to better outcomes. By involving our team at the design stage, we foster communication, identify cost-saving alternatives, and streamline the project from the start. We prioritize aligning the project’s cost with the owner’s expectations from day one—avoiding redesigns and delays. Our partnership with design teams and subcontractors ensures a clear understanding of project goals and smarter decision-making throughout.
PRECONSTRUCTION & BUDGETING
We work closely with owners to create and maintain budgets throughout the design process. Our preconstruction services include scheduling, permit reviews, value engineering, and cost analysis. We also involve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades early to review designs for efficiency, cost, and lead times.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS
We utilize Procore to manage all project documentation submittals, drawings, logs, photos, and reports. Our Project Manager issues weekly reports with progress updates, a three-week schedule, and upcoming tasks. Weekly on-site OAC (owner/architect/contractor) meetings ensure alignment and rapid issue resolution.
SCHEDULING & STAFFING
A solid schedule is the foundation of a successful build. We create a master schedule during preconstruction and maintain weekly three-week look-ahead schedules with input from subcontractors. Our experienced Project Manager and Superintendent oversee all aspects—contracting, financials, quality control, and coordination. We understand tight timelines and are fully committed to meeting them, drawing from extensive experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven industries like hospitality and healthcare construction.
