The transformation of Uchi Scottsdale was both a technical and creative accomplishment. The renovation involved converting the former Bandera restaurant into a refined dining space that harmonizes Arizona’s warm, earthy tones with Japanese aesthetics. Key features included the installation of sculptural arched wood ceilings inspired by southwestern ramadas, custom tables, and flooring in sandy shades all reflecting a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance.
Coordinating with Hai Design Studio, Hazelbaker Rush, and AV3 Design, the project required precision and adaptability, from integrating local and national artwork to ensuring the space suited a 207-seat dining room with patio and bar areas. Extra care was paid to finishes, lighting, and acoustics to foster both intimacy and energy. Every step, from sourcing materials to final installation, was focused on honoring the chef’s vision, Scottsdale’s vibrant culinary scene, and delivering an inviting, elevated experience for every guest.

The dual-floor layout added another layer of planning, especially around flow, sequencing, and trade coordination. Centering the space around a wood-burning hearth required careful execution to integrate structure, fire systems, and finishes without compromising the atmosphere. High-end materials leave little room for error, so craftsmanship and communication were essential from rough-in through final punch.
In the end, the project delivered a refined steakhouse environment that feels elevated but still inviting, showing how thoughtful construction can bring a bold hospitality concept to life.
Building Sunda Fulton Market was a project that demanded careful planning, strong communication, and a steady focus on quality from start to finish. The goal was to deliver a restaurant that felt elevated and inviting while still performing as a highly functional hospitality space. That balance required close coordination between the design team, trades, and ownership to make sure every finish, fixture, and system supported the overall concept.
Custom millwork, premium finishes, feature lighting, and back-of-house kitchen systems all had to be installed with precision and in the right order. Logistics added another layer of complexity, so managing deliveries, scheduling trades, and keeping the jobsite organized were just as important as the craftsmanship itself.
The finished restaurant reflects a polished dining experience, but behind that atmosphere is a great deal of coordination, problem-solving, and execution; that is where the real value of the build shows.

Telefèric Barcelona’s Scottsdale opening is a solid example of a hospitality build that has to balance brand experience, fast-track coordination, and a high-traffic retail environment. The over 8,000-square-foot restaurant sits in one of the Valley’s busiest shopping and dining destinations, so logistics, access, and tenant coordination are as important as the interior finish.
The job centered on tight sequencing, trade coordination, and maintaining quality while delivering a space with a strong design identity. A concept like this also demands careful execution around kitchen infrastructure, specialty bar and dining features, and finishes that support both daytime traffic and a lively evening atmosphere.
What makes a project like Telefèric Barcelona notable is that it is not just another restaurant build; it is a flagship-style opening for the brand in Arizona. For us, that means the final product has to feel polished, durable, and operationally efficient from day one.

Blue Plate Chicago’s Fulton Market headquarters reads like a highly coordinated ground-up hospitality facility designed to support production, client-facing, and administrative functions under one roof. The project’s value was in delivering a complex, food-service-driven building that included a large catering kitchen, commissary functions, tasting rooms, event space, and corporate offices, all while meeting the operational demands of a fast-growing caterer.
The 20,000-square-foot catering kitchen was the heart of the build, requiring careful planning for MEP coordination, sanitation, workflow efficiency, and equipment-heavy infrastructure. Beyond the kitchen, the building had to balance utility and hospitality, creating a polished environment for clients and staff while keeping back-ofhouse production highly functional.
The result is a purpose-built headquarters that supports both the business and the brand.

This project involved the construction of a new gastropub and tavern on a previously vacant lot in downtown Glenview, bringing new energy to the area while respecting its historic character. The build required precise coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support both front-of-house atmosphere and back-of-house performance. Careful sequencing of the exterior shell and interior fit-out helped keep the project moving efficiently and minimized disruption to surrounding businesses and the public.
Collaboration with the village, project stakeholders, and funding partners was essential to meet timeline requirements and deliver a polished final product. The result is an upscale restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining that takes advantage of river views while honoring Glenview’s heritage and community identity. This was a project that balanced craftsmanship, coordination, and community impact.

Constructing TORO Steakhouse at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess required balancing a modern, upscale design with the operational demands of a high-traffic resort setting. The project called for lush greenery, expansive windows, and custom finishes that create a warm, inviting atmosphere while emphasizing golf course views and a strong indooroutdoor connection. Because the restaurant was built within an existing hospitality footprint, careful coordination was needed to integrate new restaurant infrastructure without disrupting the broader resort environment.
The team also had to account for efficient kitchen flow, durable systems, and flexibility to support both daily service and large events. Premium materials and precise execution were essential to achieve the right visual impact while ensuring long-term performance. The success of the project came from aligning aesthetic goals, operational efficiency, and guest experience into one cohesive build.
