“Who are the artists that form your creative lineage?” In February, we posed that question to ThirdSpace Action Lab’ co-founder and creative director, Mordecai Cargill. This simple question functioned like a thread to a larger tapestry that wove together this month’s theme. Lineage assembles and unravels the threads — both loosely and tightly woven — that can form and shape the tapestry of what constitutes our homes. This March, in light of Women’s History Month, ThirdSpace Action Lab is inviting everyone to reflect and celebrate the ceaseless pursuit of searching for, and making sense of our lineages, motherlands and mother tongues with the concept of locating home(s).
