Last June, ECO global and area operation teams worked together, leveraged what USAC pricing team had already built, globalized, and prioritized over 90+ exception (error) reports, established routine process to monitor and remediate these exceptions.

Result Highlight:

• Resolved over 1M exception (error) since July 2023

• Average 32% per month reduction in Complaint lines due to incorrect standard pricing or discounts, or incorrect deal price.

• Average 22% reduction per month in Blocked order lines due to incorrect pricing, or missing listing, or PIPO setup. Exclude R4 countries due to no baseline.

Digital Accessibility Requirements: A Growing Global Trend

The world continues to experience a shift towards inclusivity in the digital landscape. As technology becomes increasingly integrated into everyday life, ensuring that digital platforms, websites, and applications are accessible to all users is gaining significant traction in legislatures and courtrooms the world over.

This trend is driven by new legal mandates and increased international support for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), a set of standards developed to ensure digital content is accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG includes guidelines for website design, development, and content creation.

Let’s explore some notable developments:

• United States: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandates that online business platforms be accessible to all. The U.S. Department of Justice’s guidance in 2022 further reinforced this stance, leading to an increase in digital accessibility lawsuits.

• Canada: The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requires organizations to ensure the accessibility of web content they own or manage as third parties. This mandate encompasses web content generated from 2012 onwards.

• Japan: Adherence to Japanese Industrial Standards mandates web services and products to comply with WCAG 2.0 level AA. These regulations are regularly updated to keep pace with technological advancements.

• Australia and New Zealand: Australia’s Disability Services Act, along with laws like the Disability Discrimination Act and Procurement Standard Guidance, covers accessibility in various sectors. New Zealand has its own Online Practice Guidelines focused on web accessibility for public and private services.

• European Union: The European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective from June 2025, aims to standardize accessibility requirements for products and services across the EU’s internal market. This directive holds significant implications for businesses in sectors such as online retail, banking, telecommunications, technology, media, and transport services.

• Latin America: Brazil’s Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities and Argentina’s web accessibility law emphasize inclusivity and equal access to digital environments.

The company is committed to implementing state-of-the-art accessibility standards through internal policies, accessibility training, and integration into procurement practices, recognizing that over 1.3 billion people worldwide live with disabilities.

Unlocking Creativity: Exploring the Benefits of Mind Mapping

In today’s fast-paced world, creativity is a highly sought-after skill. However, many individuals struggle to tap into their creative potential. In this article, we will explore the benefits of mind mapping as a powerful tool to unlock creativity and enhance problem-solving abilities.

What is Mind Mapping?

Mind mapping is a visual technique that allows individuals to organize and connect ideas in a non-linear way. Unlike traditional note-taking, mind mapping utilizes a central idea or concept as the starting point, with branches radiating outwards to represent related thoughts and associations. By visually representing ideas and connections, mind mapping stimulates both sides of the brain, encouraging creativity and enhancing memory retention.

To make the most of mind mapping, it’s important to follow some practical tips. Choose the right tools and software that suit your preferences and needs. There are various digital mind mapping tools available, such as MindMeister and XMind, or you can opt for pen and paper if that works better for you. Start with a central idea or concept and branch out from there, adding related thoughts and associations as you go. Use colors, images, and keywords to enhance creativity and make your mind maps visually appealing. Lastly, incorporate mind mapping into your daily routines, whether it’s brainstorming ideas, planning projects, or organizing information.
